I think he will mostly fight Freeza soldiers again.

I hope not. I hope he fights Paragus or Beet who have somehow gotten fairly strong so it is a significant fight.

I really doubt it'll be like ROTS', novelizations like that are the exception and not the rule.

He is not on the movie at all and is considered one of the best directors at Toei. This was also from his personal Facebook and not a Toei press release.

You're thinking of Torishima Kazuhiko, who did not work on the movie and was speaking only of the script. Ootsuka Takashi is an ace action director who has actually seen the finished movie.

I'm not saying he WILL do that, I just think it's possible that something like that might happen. Toriyama's flubbed and fudged his own continuity before like Shenron only granting two wishes in RoF .

It wasn't an error. Dragon Balls were used in BoG arc. This happened 6 months only before RoF. When you use a single whish, the balls reactivate themselves 4 months later instead of one full year but in return you can only use the two remaining wishes.

It has to be more than six months since Pan is born during the time Freeza is revived and she looks older than a few weeks.

That and they are people who did enjoy Resurrection 'F's script. You have to remember Battle of Gods was blasted for being too slow pace and too much focused on gags, so a movie that was all action was welcomed. I think too many people spent too much time in the echo chamber and believe that Resurrection 'F' is universally hated or looked down on.

Am I the only one expecting a Gogeta Re-design? Granted I wont mind if he looked like his movie 12 incarnation, but if we're being consistent here, everyone who's being reintroduced in this movie got make-overs, so Gogeta should be getting one too, right?

Yes. I expected a new design for Vegetto in the Future Trunks arc and we got the same old one, probably will be the same Gogeta as well... Or Toriyama might do a few changes for him to not look too much like a tall SSJ Gotenks.

It made more money than BoG and has the higher rating on imdb, not the worlds best evidence of quality sure but alone proves it is far from universally hated.
