All right, then! Let's see here . . .

They're all well-done, but I like the Broly one the best. Hmm. Didn't I see this particular Broly on the Randomness Forums?
You know, it isn't that many people these days who can pull off this sort of color mixture with basic pencil tools. Everyone blends things together with Photoshop now. (We're all so lazy.) Check out the way these yellows run together in Broly's hair in particular.
If you don't have Photoshop, then to hell with it; you don't need it . . . and if you do have it, then kudos for honing your skills the old-fashioned way.

Read my Tekken fic! 'Tis the pwnz0rz!
My favourite DBZ art of mine...
Again, I need pageviews! Gimmegimmegimme!!
Well, if you keep putting up new art, then I'll keep giving you page views. Here, I'll bookmark your deviantart page for future reference.
This is a creative Vegeta. Let's see a Majin Vegeta to go with it.
This is interesting. I
like the Toriyama style, I really do, but am I ever thrilled when I see someone using their own particular style. Is there a story behind this particular drawing, Chuquita?
Cosmic wrote:Your Gay vegeta art is really frickin stupid, gokuxvegeta is the gayest thing i've heard.
(*flips Cosmic the Bird*) Not as gay as you. I happen to like Chuquita, so kiss off.
Damn you, Mr. Announcer! I need a f*ck*ng tablet, 'cause I'm sucking in seven different directions with just this mouse to draw with.
Hey, check out this first one. Look at how alive everyone is! The important thing here, at least in my own opinion, is that every character is in motion. It reminds me of the show better than those drawings I'll see sometimes where everyone's standing still looking into the "camera". What's also nice is the draw you've put on the characters further away from the front. You have a fine sense of how to draw things that are far away, and an equally fine sense of how to keep them detailed.
Let's see something with Buu-saga characters! The most complicated saga of them all.
People like to focus on the Saiyans, so there's really not a lot of good Tenshinhan art out there. I find it to be extremely rare.
Know what's even rarer, though? Non-Toriyama Tenshinhan. So golly gee, this is fun! What a great way to depict Tenshinhan. I'm speaking of the first example in particular, because it shows off his features-- or rather, your version of them-- very nicely.
KinoFourpaws wrote:The first one was originally envelope art (of which the recipent I'm sure will be seeing soon ), so I edited out the addresses in the corners for privacy. That's why the image looks kind of screwy, and I apologize for that.
Who's the recipient? Is that for some sort of contest, or it's personal?
I hope it's personal. I don't think you can get contest envelopes back, so it'd be nice if this went to someone who'll take care of it. You may never see it again, but I'll bet whoever gets it will like it enough to stick it somewhere safe.
Why is that a crappy hand? And why did you insist on pointing it out? That's a better hand than most, I think. In fact, I think that particular pose for the hand is one of the more difficult ones. You seem to have it down just fine, you know.

Theres an avatar I made for a (maybe) upcoming website me and my mate Ads might make, if we gets some moneys! XD
I appologise if this is only for drawings.
EDIT: By the way, SSj Kaboom, thems some good drawin's!
Taking images from another source and arranging them in a new way is still art. This might not be a drawing, but it's still fun to look at. Which version of Adobe do you use?
Kristiann wrote:This isn't really fanart, is it? XD
Not fan
art, but certainly fanwork. I don't think anyone's gonna make a thing about it.
There's something to be said for something creative that's not your typical art. If you can't draw, then you've certainly found a way to express yourself. How can anyone not like this? If it weren't illegal, I'd buy one of those Dragon Radars off of you.
Saiyan wrote:And I love everyone's style and contribution. I wish I could draw characters in poses well, but its not that easy for me.
It doesn't show, though. It looks as though you more-or-less have an idea of how everyone is supposed to look. Besides, the more you work at it the easier those poses will become.
The bigger issue, I think (especially with a complicated picture like yours), is trying to arrange everyone "just so". There's only so much room on any one piece of paper, and yet you want everyone to have enough personal space . . . and without some degree of planning,
that's hard to accomplish. I can't tell you how many times I've started a group picture with a grand vision in mind only to run out of space.
This is a skill, what you have.
. . .
Oh, look. I have some crap, too.
No scanner. No art software. No special effects. Just mouse-drawn crap and an ultra-basic color palette . . . no wonder SSJ2 Chibi Goten is so
angry.
For the record, I really can do much better than that. I don't usually aim to make a character look Toriyama-esque, but it's very hard to draw in my own style with this bulky mouse. I must fix my scanner and get Adobe Photoshop downloaded again, and then possibly buy a tablet to go with it all . . .
Again, damn you
Mr. Announcer!
This one's drawn much better. Here we have a character from my novel (soon to be published)! He's not a DBZ character, but I've included him here because in this particular instance I decided to have some fun and bend his reality: he's turning
Super Saiyan!
(Hmm. I should probably pull up a larger version of that.)
