This certainly looks interesting. Can't really glean much about gameplay from the trailer.

Goku looks absolutely horrible.
If this is just more Victory Vs I'm not interested.

Heck this came out of nowhere.
I loved J-Stars. If this is the actual sequel then I'm game. Hoping for Yugi.

I'm certainly alone in this but I want and find more interesting a fight between Bardock, Minato Namikaze and Monkey D. Dragon. Hopefully they all finally make it in to this game.

Uh that art-style...

Dragon has literally no moveset yet so 0% chance.Grimlock wrote:I'm certainly alone in this but I want and find more interesting a fight between Bardock, Minato Namikaze and Monkey D. Dragon. Hopefully they all finally make it in to this game.

Holy mother of...
I'm hyped. I for one loved J-Stars (though I'd be a liar if I said it didn't have some issues), so if this is more of that, I'm in. Even if it's NOT more of that, I'm in. This already looks cool as hell, so basically, I'm all for it.
Though, the narrator says the worlds these characters came from are getting mashed up, but...if I'm not mistaken, that looks like OUR world, the real world, they're fighting in. Like, New York, or something. ...

If this is anything like J-Stars Victory Vs, this'll be a hard pass for me. I wasn't a fan of that game, as it got old very quickly.

And so the meme of Frieza being everyone's punching bag continues
Game looks interesting. I've never played any of the other J-Star games, but I wouldn't be opposed to picking this one up. Art style definitely looks a bit off but hopefully the final product will touch up some things

The game was ugly as hell but it was funny to see Naruto run past the USA flag. Hope some other lesser known series make into the game.
Re: "Jump Force" Official Discussion Thread
I'm sure looking back I won't be impressed but initial hype off the trailer during xboxs show was amazing. Seeing luffys ship and then Freeza's ship in a real life environement. If nothing else its unique which i liked. Plus light and the demon from Death Note at the end. Thats cool.

This game was certainly a surprise although it doesn't look all that good to me, just not a fan of that art style. I am interested to see which characters get added to this game though.
Re: "Jump Force" Official Discussion Thread
Not interested. Absolutely despite the art direction and wouldn't want to play a Victory VS sequel if the gameplay remains the same repetitive garbage.

Looks like it could be fun. It would be neat if we got someone from City Hunter, Baoh and DNA2 in the game.

I admit, the pseudo-realistic art style is a bit jarring, but I personally don't see how it's that big of a deal breaker. It'll be the story and the gameplay that'll count for the most for me.
Also predicting that we'll definitely see the likes of Deku from My Hero Academia in this, as that title's doing great for Jump right now. I wonder what the chances are of Kenshin making it in though, given recent events...
Probably incredibly unlikely on that one at least sadly, but man what I wouldn't give for Katsura to get some representation in these games again. Maybe if we get support characters again, but beyond that, our biggest hope probably lies in his first hit, Wingman, who I'm honestly surprised wasn't already in J-Stars.Hellspawn28 wrote:Looks like it could be fun. The new Kenshin manga is still being published, so I imagine it should be fine.Gyt Kaliba wrote:I admit, the pseudo-realistic art style is a bit jarring, but I personally don't see how it's that big of a deal breaker. It'll be the story and the gameplay that'll count for the most for me.

I'm intrigued. How weird that all the anime is pouring into the real World, interesting choice.
The art-style seems to fit some characters better than others, Goku not so well. Let's see how this develops.
