I either wasn't around, or just flat-out missed a lot of these. But I do remember the "OMG DBZ IS COMING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!" meme in the light of Battle of Gods. It flagged as nonsense immediately to me, but yeah, I saw people actually believing it.
