Vegeta didn't love Bulma and didn't want a kid. So he saw that moment like as a way to take some tension out with Bulma. He wasn't affectionated to Bulma yet. Goku is more debatable since he's pure. But he has gotten rid of his pure side like bribing Old Kaioshin by offering pics from Bulma or a date with Videl, and has stated things like "Chi-Chi is flat chested". So he got it on him at the end.
