The French opening and I assume all dubs based on it:

The Arabic dub

Funimation's English dubs obviously had like 6 different openings just for Z. Plus the opening for their 95 Dragon Ball dub and Step into Grand Tour for GT. Also Ocean did their own unique opening for Z

The German opening

For me this one is quite unique... In Poland, by the time of DB run, we had for like 1 or 2 episodes.

It's basically the French opening song over og opening animations:

The reason I say this is unique, is because with all the other episodes we had an original French opening in shape of:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bG6WngArmAA

And of course all of my generation living in Poland grew up on this Z op:

This one is not unique but nostalgic as hell so forgive me of pasting it :P

And the last(?) of those, the nameless movie instrumental composed by Mark Menza (and used in the UUE) that I think you and jjgp outlined when I asked the question, literally sounds like something out of a late 90's-early 2000's US sitcom series intro song, typically made by the likes of Nickelodeon or something.
How there's people out there who associate that of all things with the Z series (or anything DB for that matter) is legitimately beyond me.

EDIT: Turns out that it wasn't the last, but it was close.

The Ultimate Uncut Opening had a different more "hardcore and edgy" opening

It didn't fit with Head Cha La's animation at all so it was ditched for Menza's already composed movie opening for the remastered season sets.

Tbh, I find it hard to believe any DBZ English theme is associated with the show in the same way the original Pokemon theme or DiC Sailor Moon theme are associated with their shows. Too many changing themes for the same set of episodes (the Saiyan-Namek era technically has 3 different theme songs depending on how you're watching it) and a lack of catchy memorable lyrics for most of them.

Like, maybe, Rock the Dragon is the closest thing DBZ has to an "iconic" English theme song and even then most fans probably forgot about it since it was dropped after the 1990s anyways.

Saw that one recently, it's a symbol of how utterly juvenile their whole operation was.

Definitely, it's strange. This one just stood out to me because it's transparent how supremely unfitting it is for the series, and what it would actually belong in.

Apparently, the dubbing studio in Portugal couldn't get the original instrumental of Arianne's opening (the French dub one), so they composed a new one which sounded like something coming from a lottery show:

This forum is so over-dramatic that it's not even funny.

It is actually rather well-regarded by Portuguese fans in a "so-bad-it's-good" way, somewhat like how English-speaking fans see the "Big Green" dub.

The Hindi dub was apparently based on the Funimation dub and used Rock the Dragon with their own lyrics

https://youtu.be/yOqL80J9RnQ?si=xl2nGskfD5TgmSej

Considering the whole point of replacing the Japanese score with their own score was so Funimation could charge royalties I guess this is one of those cases where that actually played out?

Yes, the European (not Brazilian) Portuguese dub has a fan following over there for being a basically self aware parody/gag dub. Given it was made that way intentionally due to the fact they couldn't really make a serious dub with the French sourced scripts they were given and only having a handful of actors doing all the voices. It's certainly entertaining in that sense.

DB collection related goals as of now:

1.) Find decent priced copy of Dragon Box Z Vol. 4 (Done)

2.) Collect rest of manga

3.) Get rest of Daizenshuu (2-7)

I didn't expect this to turn into a thing or where people were just talking about what they sound like. I just want to see how many Original dragon ball openings There are.

Like, how did nobody mention the Korean openings?
