My Dad died a year ago and he was a huge fan of Dragon Ball too. He was in his 80s but he loved it as much as me and watching the series again was one of the last things we got to do together... This news sucks and it's really sinking in...

I honestly don’t know how to take this right now. Right before I heard this news, right at this moment, I was watching a street work out video and one of the guys in the video is named Broly. He does DBZ screams in between sets. THAT is how influential Toriyama-sensei’s impact is. Oh my God.

They waited so many days to announce it. I think those were his last wishes. I hope he rests in peace and he is in a better place, he deserves it, after all he did for us.
