A re-release of the Dragon Ball Super Broly steelbook has been listed on Crunchyroll's website. Given the listed extra features, it looks like another case of the existing Funimation disc contents in a new package. So we're probably looking at having a green tinted movie again, unless anyone in the community has heard otherwise? Thinking of reaching out to support regarding this, but given the track record of Dragon Ball's rights-holders, I doubt they care.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly new steelbook release
I've actually grown quite fond of the Dragon Box colors, is there any cure for this?

I too fully expect this to be the same US disc in nicer packaging, unless import sales of the UK Blu-Ray was enough for Funimation to take notice, which I doubt as they would have released the better disc in North America if that was the case.

Its coming out in the UK on November 10th.
Sadly I'm predicting that like the Dragon Ball Z Complete Series set last year it will use the US discs instead of the UK ones, so this will probably have the green tint.

God I miss commentary tracks. I’d love one for this movie.
…. I forget what I was talking about.

Well, it won't be the Manga Entertainment disc, as the packaging advertises the extras from the Funimation release (plus it's region A-compatible and the audio codec is different). In theory they might have combined the best assets from both discs, but honestly I doubt it. These days, all Crunchyroll UK seems to do is release American discs with as little localisation as is legally necessary.Dragon Ball Ireland wrote: Wed Sep 24, 2025 9:31 am Sadly I'm predicting that like the Dragon Ball Z Complete Series set last year it will use the US discs instead of the UK ones
