What about this petition? That's another 936 signatures . . . unless it was an earlier version of the same petition that they received . . .Kendamu wrote:Yeah. 815 names were sent to them in a petition not to long ago and the DBZ Brand Manager sent it to the higher-ups. It's likely that there won't even be a response from them regarding the petition.

That's the same one. It's just that more people have signed it since it was sent to FUNi.FDLink wrote:What about this petition? The season two set. I'm already familiar with most of the crappier video moments in the season one set (what with the forum and all).MajinVejitaXV wrote:In this set, or in the sets in general?DaemonCorps wrote:So... are there any scenes in particular where the widescreen is a real con (ie. scenes that don't pan up all the way, chopped off heads, etc)?

You know, I had thought about picking this set up second-hand once the price hits rock bottom just because the original dub versions of Season 3 were a showcase of how bad dubbing can get...but now there's no point. It's not even bad in a funny way, it's just...bad now.Kendamu wrote:Have fun with "The Next Dimension" and some other crappy lines once the Ginyu Force shows up.
Goodbye, Drummond-Sabat and Dale Kelly. We hardly knew ye.

Yeah, he actually said that both in the Japanese version and the original FUNimation/Ocean dub. Kinda neat.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:I was just watching an episode in this set and Freeza actually calls Appule by his name. I have never heard anyone call him by his name.

I always thought Pauline Newstone's voice made it sound like "animule".VegettoEX wrote:Yeah, he actually said that both in the Japanese version and the original FUNimation/Ocean dub.
