I like these sets like I like a sack of bricks chucked at my dumb head.

What about this petition? That's another 936 signatures . . . unless it was an earlier version of the same petition that they received . . .

That's the same one. It's just that more people have signed it since it was sent to FUNi.

In this set, or in the sets in general?
The season two set. I'm already familiar with most of the crappier video moments in the season one set (what with the forum and all).

$10 bucks says Shenron just signed it 750 times; many of the grammar mistakes match his style.

Have fun with "The Next Dimension" and some other crappy lines once the Ginyu Force shows up.

You know, I had thought about picking this set up second-hand once the price hits rock bottom just because the original dub versions of Season 3 were a showcase of how bad dubbing can get...but now there's no point. It's not even bad in a funny way, it's just...bad now.

Goodbye, Drummond-Sabat and Dale Kelly. We hardly knew ye.

The Subs may not say "The Next Dimention" but they say Other Side, which I'm thinking is almost the same fucking thing.

When ever Gohan or Vegeta are naked in the Series and their tails are cut off... it looks like they're doing a poo.... ò.ô

Who wants to bet that when they "re-release" these in whatever video format comes after the current one in use that they'll tack the original dub audio on in order to get people to buy the sets again?

I'd wager against that bet personally.

I was just watching an episode in this set and Freeza actually calls Appule by his name. I have never heard anyone call him by his name.

Yeah, he actually said that both in the Japanese version and the original FUNimation/Ocean dub. Kinda neat.

Speaking of, I noticed the Spark! NEO Japanese site called him "Apur". Does that show up at all, or is he called "Appule" in both the dub and Steve's subtitles?

The Neo site also says "Omega Shenron", and that certainly isn't his name.

But yeah, there are rarly any consistent spellings that bring the puns across when it comes to DragonBall names over there, what with their Gokous and Klilyns and all.

I always thought Pauline Newstone's voice made it sound like "animule".
