If it weren't for Kuririn, Piccolo would be my favorite character. I mean, he's big, green (err... sorry), a recluse (which in my eyes makes an awesome character), he was a former villain whose heart was changed for the better by the only child who ever spoke to him like another person (and as such became an even better father to Gohan, IMO, than Goku), he can really dish out the pain, and... and... he can conjure up clothing for other characters at will. It's really absurd if you think about it.
In the Saiyan saga, during the training, Piccolo grants Gohan a Goku-like gi with the Ma emblem on it, and a mini-sword to go with it. Just before the Cell Games, he gives Gohan an outfit just like his own, simply by placing his hand over Gohan's head and screaming. He can even bestow clothing upon himself, as evidenced when he reaches Kami's Lookout to fuse with Kami... as he alights, his mantle and cape suddenly appear on his shoulders.
At first I thought this was Piccolo's ability alone, but then I remembered that Kami did the same thing for Goku at the end of DragonBall, after the Ma Junior battle. So perhaps it's a Namekian trait?

All I know is, I wish I could do that. Most of my wardrobe makes me look... less than adequate income.

Well... yeah, naturally, but they have separate traits, too, don't they? ...At least I'm pretty sure they do.

I think that Nameks can do pretty much anything ! Heal, fight, create clothes, farm, create dragonballs....... The clothes thing is one of my favourites too. One of the neatest abilities.

He can even bestow clothing upon himself, as evidenced when he reaches Kami's Lookout to fuse with Kami... as he alights, his mantle and cape suddenly appear on his shoulders.

He even does that in a few video games.

Generating not just clothing, but other basic items just seems to one of the more basic magic abilities in DragonBall.

It's not the most impressive thing Kami/Piccolo can do. Kami could also teleport himself between the Palace and the Afterlife Check-In Station.

OK, OK, so I'm a Piccolo fan too, but... shoot, that does it, I'm creating a Kuririn thread now...

Um, is this a pro-Piccolo thread because incase you didn't know, I like Piccolo. The namekians were more or less a peaceful race and that makes the guy stand out even more.

As the series progressed, the main characters were slowly pushed aside but Piccolo lasted...even when there were a bunch of SSjs running around. He was the namekian Vegeta and he's still my favorite character. I mean the guy keeps it real, look at my user name for god's sake..lol Anyway, I don't know what else to say, namekians have cool abilities too.

Making objects and whatever, not to mention Piccolo being Gohan's tailor for years. Even though this was filler, I'm sure Piccolo smokes cigars much like those fake namekians did, haha. Ah, well that's it. Piccolo owns and his design, much like his father's and Kami's, are very simple and effect which makes them cool. The shoes might be another thing..

Yeah, I know, I made this thread to be pro-Piccolo, but that doesn't mean we should knock on other characters, least of all Kuririn...
And what's wrong with Piccolo's elf shoes? You gotta love 'em.
