Alternate costumes (or attacks, or potara) you wanted?

Largely talking about Tenkaichi 3 here, but chime in with your own if it's a different game.

So, we all know T3 had characters out the wazoo, but what about the costumes? Where there any you felt they dropped the ball on?

Personally, here's a few I would have liked:

Grandpa Gohan [Alive] - Same clothes, but without the kitty mask and halo. Practically no difference to the model, I really don't know why they didn't add this.

ChiChi [Kame gi] - If they absolutely had to put in the wrong ChiChi (goddammit, she didn't even fight once!), they could've at least given her a what-if costume. Preferably one that doesn't involve a fraction of my screen being taken up by scantily-clad 12-year-old ass. The fuck were you thinking, Ox King?

Future Gohan [Piccolo gi?] - Something, geez. Having the alternate of an orange Kame gi be a slightly more yellow Kame gi is just lazy. Mystic Gohan kinda gets a pass since the outfit is almost a bigger trait for that form than the differences in his eyes and hair. (As an aside, Future Gohan is a neat character and I like playing as him. Watch out for the gliding pork.)

Vegeta (Mid?) [Badman shirt] - You know it, you love it, we shoulda been able to play as it.

I suppose "street clothes" is/will be a common request, but pick a specific outfit instead of just saying 'casual' or whatever, please.

~ His orange-jacketed casual outfit from before the Cell Games
~ His purple, early-DB outfit as an Adult. (Does he have it as Kid Goku in BT3?)

Piccolo
~ Daimou outfit

Vegeta
~ Badman, definitely
~ His GT outfit (minus the mustache and J.J. Jameson hair)

Future Trunks
~ His movie 9 outfit; long hair with the cutoff sleeveless jacket. I know it's usually a Trunks fangirl want, but I thought it was a pretty cool outfit, too.

Goten
~ One of Goku's old outfits. Probably the purple one I already mentioned.

Yeah, Kid Goku has that as his alternate outfit. And I agree, especially for Goku (Early). Mid has the Yardrat suit and torn-up gi, and Late has the blue one and Saiyan armor, but Early's are all just variations on the Kame gi. Not that I mind, really, it's nice to be able to near-exactly recreate a fight, but it'd be nice to have one that's not orange.

I would agree, except to keep the hair (not the mustache) so it's a "real" GT Vegeta.

Another few I thought of while reviewing the costumes:

Great Saiyawoman [no helmet, bandanna/sunglasses] - Just to match Saiyaman, I guess. Almost anything's good if it prevents plain palette swaps.

Pan [Kame gi, maybe Saiyan armor?] - Some of these just seem odd. They give Vegeta's kid a Kame gi as his alternate, but only have a palette swap for Goku's granddaughter?

Pikkon [No weighted clothes] - Another odd omission, considering Piccolo got this.

I guess so, but only in terms of length, since the shape of the hair was pretty horrendous on Vegeta.

Wouldn't the sword make him have a whole different fighting style, though? That seems a bit excessive for something he never fought with.

I was sort of bummed that Yamcha didn't have his Buu saga outfit..as much as I hate it. Tien should of had more outfits too, he always dressed up. Besides from that I was happy with everything.

Some of these have been said already, but anyway:

1. Kid Gohan's orange gi

2. Tenshinhan's Buu saga gi

3. Trunks' in Movie 9

4. Some casual clothes for Vegeta, instead of the armor or Buu saga jumpsuit

5. Krillin's white suit

6. Goten's regular clothes, from before the Buu saga

7. Kid Gohan's regular clothes with the hat and 4 star ball

8. Gohan's Kai outfit

9. Last, but by no means least, Kid Trunks' clothes from Movie 10

I'd also want an actual alternate outfit for anyone else in Tenkaichi 3 who was only given the same clothes but in a slightly different color as their alternate outfit.

The ones I italicized were ones I thought worked fine with just a palette swap.

Mystic Gohan's Kame gi, as I've said, is iconic to that form, and the only time I don't mind the orange-yellow color swap. I suppose you could stick him in the dork clothes from the end of Z, though.

Kid Trunks and Uub get passes because while technically their alts are simply palette swaps, they're palette swaps that result in Kame gis. Good enough if they only get one alt, I guess. This doesn't carry over to Majuub, though, so fuck him.

Gotenks and Gogeta are obviously stuck with the Fusion clothing. Vegetto's clothes depend completely on what alts Vegeta (late) has, and SSJ4 Gogeta gets away with it because it's such a drastic color change.

Nova Shenron, I'm not sure of, because I don't recall if he looks like Eis Shenron or not.

Syn/Omega also gets away with it just like SSJ4 Gogeta - it's just such a drastic color change.

Bardock, I wasn't sure to count. His alt is battle-damage instead of a color change, so... And actually, that kinda applies to the Vegetas too. King Vegeta's swap puts him in Prince Vegeta-colored clothes, and vice verse for the Prince. A nice touch, I suppose, but Prince Vegeta needs more alts regardless.

As for the robots and naked aliens, I don't know what they could change besides color, so they get a pass.

In the anime, Gotenks gets an alternate outfit. Or lack there of.

Vegeta + badman, just in the event that number of requests counts for something...

For Bardock's alternate costume, I'd give him the armor of a non-playable Saiyan character. Toma's maybe? I know in B3 he had Tullece's colors as his alt, and I thought it was pretty cool. Either that or animal skins like those Saiyans in the flashbacks.

Pan... give her the Kame gi.

Tapion... hmm... was Minoshia's outfit any different from his?

King Vegeta's alt was Vegeta colors, wasn't it? Oh yeah, you said that. I dunno, put him in robes, or something.

Give Tullece Kame Gi. XD

Well, Kid Trunks' alternate pissed me off. I know it kind of resembles the Kame gi, but it looks like a discolored Kame gi. I think Videl got 3 completely different alternates! And as I recall, she's pretty useless in the series. I would easily sacrifice her, Satan and a couple other characters entirely, just for some better alternate outfits for other character i.e. kid Trunks.

You can get that in Tenkaichi 3, but you have to get Gohan injured to do it. Which sucks. Infact, you have to get a lot of characters injured to get some of the cool outfits. Like Goku in the blue T-shirt against Freeza for example.
