Holy crap do the bangs make a difference on that third cover.

Seriously, that was the one cosmetic addition I REALLY wanted.
And, I got it?

So....according to FOX, Goku's bangs are the equivalent of Superman taking his glasses off?

Fair enough.
*Is pleased, even though the images of the "high school party lol!!111" from http://www.dragonballmovieblog.net/ are still fresh in her mind*.

I think its more of a mid conversation still, which is a very funny choice for a cover.

The bangs do make all the difference. It was one of my main complaints about how Goku looks in the movie.

Very cool covers. From the looks of it, the shape and style of Movie-Goku's hair goes through as much "evolution" as Lord Piccolo's skin color. XD

A very good way to put it, Chu. Yeah, he looks a lot better, though I dunno if it'll make much impression if for 70% of the movie his bangs are sky-high. Remember, not one shot from the trailer showed such a moment for Chatku. So, we'll see how this is handled I suppose, hopefully this isn't just some test promotion shot & abandoned concept that Viz got a hold of.

Seeing those bangs was a pleasant surprise; and I really hope they make it to the final film as it makes a world of difference aesthetically.

Sadly, the bangs will do nothing to rid that unpleasant ".............cool." taste left in my mouth from the trailer.
I still don't get why Chatku isn't allowed to be "happy" in this movie.

I know Toriyama's Goku would be unhappy in high school; at least until he found a sport or athletic event he liked and threw himself into training for that.
(I imagine that, if trapped in "high school", Toriyama's Goku would live for gym class; also I'd imagine he'd skip class a lot to go train.)

Nor will it discount "Goku in high school" or the "high school party" images either. Those screenshots were depressing. TT_TT

More like Goku's hair de-evolved, he lost hair. I know Goku's hair is a bit ridicules, but this is a multimillion dollar movie production! Send the $100 or whatever.

If there were a "Help this movie make Goku's hair appear more accurate to the manga" fund, I'd totally help out.

Actually, I'd rather help out with the script (Goodness would I love to help out with the script!!) but yes, please let them keep Chatku's bangs for the remainder of the movie once they first appear.

I could see all that in the Dr. Slump revamp anime, now with a big smile on my face imagining, as Goku actually did have a real class in an episode of it. Though if anything, it'd have to be grammar or middle school. High school, eh, Goku's "Smallville" years are better left on Kami's sanctuary, the 28th Budokai stage, and Chichi's kitchen IMO. For some reason as of late, his lamenting to Elder Kaioshin about having to go to high school if merged with Gohan comes to mind.

Oh Chu, sent ya' an interesting PM, hopefully you manage to check it out and reply. ^^;

Indeed! You know, lets just rewrite it!

Oh, I heard Chatwin read all the manga or something to that effect...Yeah, ok! In all the previews, he seems so serious! Why so serious!?
Goku is a quirky lad! Chatwin is well not. I wish he was. But then again, it isn't his fault. It's that damn script...
