Found this thread via a hit referral. Decided to pop in and answer a question. It gets interesting when I show up near the end of page two, and what's there on page three thus far is absolutely fantastic.

(BTW, this appears to be the forum for Dranet).

DRAGONBALL AF WAS SAPOOSED TO BE A COMIC BOOK!!! IN JAPAN!if u think something else keep it to yourself.!!!!!!!! i have proff to i have a magizine that said direstly form the daush who made dbz that they were gonna make a new db series comic book int he futre but the comic never came to be..SO f$ck OFF FAGGET sh$t FACE COCK MAST ASS DONKEY B sh$tEROIT+O

Hey you know, I think this guy must have been part of the AnimeLabs fansubbing group! I mean I'd recognize that kind of nonsensical, over-the-top swearing anywhere!

This is just the HEIGHT of lame-oscity! How could anyone in this day and age actually believe that DBAF is a real series?

It's not limited to DB, tho. The real problem is that there are idiots everywhere. I ran into a die-hard liberal one day on campus who wanted to tell me about how Bush was making a law so that no one in the media could criticize him. Now, I'm not a Bush supporter, but I know this to be patently false for several reasons. Some people are just amazingly incappable of telling fact from fiction.

I gave a pretty lengthy debunking of what he was claiming, using Toriyama's own words (got those interview transcripts saved on the ol' HD, don'tcha know). If he still persists after this, I don't know what else we can do.

There is very little you can do when trying to persuade the willfully ignorant. I can just imagine him now, sitting infront of his computer, with his hands over his ears and yelling he's right, over and over again.
