Maron is Kuririn's one-time girlfriend who appears only in the TV anime.

Biography

A brief biography of the character. Its length should be relative to the character's involvement in the series, but brevity and conciseness is still expected.

Name and Pronouns

Maron shares her name pun with Kuririn, sourcing directly the Japanese word for chestnut, マロン (maron). Kuririn's daughter, Marron, also comes from this same name pun, but elongates the first vowel with マーロン (māron).

Production

Though bearing a striking resemblance to Bulma, Maron shares her design with a character in Akira Toriyama's short series, Savings Warrior Cashman. The character remains unnamed in the original work, but receives the name "Shampul" in the the follow-up manga by Takao Koyama and Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru.

Notable Skills

Performance

Maron is performed in Japanese by Yūko Kobayashi, her sole credited work with the Dragon Ball franchise.
