The following is a guide for the layout of Movie Pages.

Notes:

  • Page titles for the first 16 movies will use the following naming convention: Series Movie #
    • Series = Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z.
    • # = The movie number, with no leading zeros (i.e. 1 instead of 01 or 001).
    • Example: Dragon Ball Movie 1
  • Page titles for all movies following the first 16 movies will use a direct naming convention: Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods
  • When applicable, include the {{incomplete}} template at the top of a page when it is still incomplete.

A summary of the movie. Although the summary is lengthier than that provided in the synopsis, brevity is still expected.

Cast

A table of the cast as credited in the original Japanese production. Additional characters/cast members not originally credited, or with speaking roles exclusive to a specific dubbing, should be included at the bottom of the table. Characters and cast members should be linked to their appropriate pages, when applicable.

Items

A list or description of items that appear within the movie. Items should be linked to their appropriate pages, when applicable.

Setting

A list or description of locations that appear within the movie. Locations should be linked to their appropriate pages, when applicable. A time frame (Age) of events should also be included when available.

Variations

A list or description of dialogue variations between the original Japanese version and various dubbings.

Edits/Censoring

A list or description of visual edits or censoring differing from the original Japanese version.

Notes

Information that does not fit into any other category. Reserved for real-world information. In-universe information should be incorporated into the summary or other categories.

Production

When appropriate, a description of the movie's production, including notes about its design or conception, etc.

Tidbits

In-universe information that cannot be easily incorporated into the summary or other available categories.

Availability

A list of official releases in various regions (i.e. North America, Japan, etc). Countries and regions should be divided up and listed separately.

External Links

Appropriate external links related to the subject matter. Preferably these links are to officially maintained websites.

A list of cited references.
