V-Fes was an event held by Shueisha in conjunction with their V-Jump magazine and overall "Jump" brand of publications, running from 1994 (when, following two trial periods over the course of 1990 to 1993, V-Jump then received a full monthly reboot publication in 1993) to 1999.
The event's title was written in Japanese as Vフェス, which can be reasonably adapted with either "Fes" or "Fest" as an English translation. This is in contrast to an event such as Jump Festa which uses フェスタ (fesuta) or the full English word "festival" as フェスティバル (fesutibaru).
With the launch of the magazine Saikyō Jump, the event was later resurrected into Saikyō V-Jump Festa for 2012 and 2013, itself morphing into Jump Victory Carnival in 2014 (and still running annually each summer to this day).
