Dragon Ball Z Movie 12

From Kanzenshuu Dragon Ball Wiki

"The Rebirth of Fusion!! Goku and Vegeta" is the twelfth entry in the Dragon Ball Z series of theatrical films. The movie premiered in Japan on 4 March 1995, and was directed by Daisuke Nishio.

Synopsis

An accident deep within Hell releases years of negative energy, which proceeds to mutate a worker into the monster Janemba. The accident freezes and distorts Hell, and the barrier between the living and the dead falls. Hordes of villains such as Freeza begin attacking Earth. Gohan and his friends handle the escaped villains, while the (now dead) Goku and afterlife warrior Paikuhan deal with Janemba. When he proves to much to handle, Goku is forced to turn SSJ3. After being badly beaten by Goku, Janemba transforms. Unable to match the newly powered up Janemba, Goku is nearly killed before Vegeta appears to help. His body somehow restored, Vegeta attempts to fight Janemba, but doesn't stand a chance.

Goku manages to convince Vegeta to use the Fusion Dance to defeat Janemba. However, because Vegeta accidentally forgot to extend a finger, a short and rotund fused warrior appears, a result of the flawed dance. Somehow this warrior survives fighting against Janemba just long enough for the fusion to dissipate, giving Goku and Vegeta another chance to fuse. Paikuhan delays Janemba long enough to give the two Saiyans the time they need to fuse, and this time no mistakes were made. A warrior who is neither Goku nor Vegeta appears as a result-- Gogeta. He destroys Janemba, and with the source of Hell's chaos gone, the realm is restored to normal. Afterwards, Vegeta's body dissipates, and Goku bids him farewell.
