Arale's Jump Up is an action game published by Enix and released in 1984 for the PC-8001 mkII microcomputer in Japan.

Title

The box for this game features "Dr. Slump" as a sort of lower sub-title underneath the main アラレのJump up title, while the actual title screen for the game forgoes the Dr. Slump direct branding and instead includes the English word "GAME" after the all-caps "ARALE NO JUMP UP" title.

Gameplay

Players control Arale as she attempts to bop the various opponents either from above or below and ultimately reach the ladder that appears at the top, in a sort of combination of the original Mario Bros. with the original Donkey Kong arcade games. The game's packaging describes this as a "Comic-Style Reflex Game" (コミック思考型反射ゲーム).[1]

The back of the box goes on to explain the game:[1]
