Borobocchi is a fictional celestial body that is mentioned by name only in the Neko Majin is Here 2 manga chapter by Akira Toriyama, first published in the 1999 #37/38 double-issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, released 10 August 1999 in Japan.

General Overview

The invading aliens mention a pathetic little alien on Planet Borobocchi which they had raided.[1]

When Neko Majin questions some invading aliens about their previous exploits, the aliens mention a pathetic little alien on Planet Borobocchi which they had raided.[1]

Name

When compared against the "pathetic little alien" (ちょっとかわいそうな宇宙人 chotto kawaisōna uchū-jin) mentioned by the invading aliens, ボロボロッチ生 (Borobocchi-sei) may be a play on or some combination of ぼろぼろ (boroboro) meaning "tattered", ボッチ (bocchi) meaning "lonely", and/or 地勢 (chisei) meaning "terrain".

In the scanlation release by piracy group "Kiss Scans", the planet's name is correctly transliterated as "Planet Borobocchi".
