Episode #0301! VegettoEX and Hujio answer a slew of questions from the audience. Is Vegeta truly a tactical and strategic fighter? What are some of the best "What If?" stories from video games? How could the Majin Buu arc have been handled differently? How could the story have been continued in other ways? All this and much more rounds out the episode! Referenced sites:
Once again, thanks to any and all folks who stuck around for the live broadcast last night... and to everyone else, enjoy the final product! It's better after production, anyway...

It was fun watching the podcast live. I have to admit though, I don't listen to the podcast very often, which is a crime, I know. But I recently just added the website to the pocket casts app on my phone, so I can listen to the show when I travel. Anyway, it was a great show! I'll be listening in more often now.

I caught the last half of this podcast live. It was the first podcast that I've watched live and I have to say that it was pretty interesting to see you guys talking without all the edits from the "final product". Fun podcast. I hope to catch more of these live in the future.
I think I'm going to listen to the first half now.

Keep an eye on Mike and the site's twitter account, he'll tweet the video link as they go live.SHINOBI-03 wrote:How do I catch a live podcast again?
It didn't stream very well for me, the video kept buffering and the comments wouldn't update properly.
(é) Yeah, I'm famous. Super famous. I start things.

I still keep expecting to hear "EX" at the end of the website's name...
I was really glad to hear about What If?s, especially that Yamcha one in Ultimate Butoden; I'll definitely have to play that now. My favorite What If? is either Cell accidentally absorbing Krillin or Raditz becoming a good guy in Sparking Neo.

20 minutes in, and unless this comes up later in the episode, I can't believe you forgot to mention Vegeta's throwing sand in Zarbon's face. Wasn't that sorta strategic?

Re: Episode #0301 (10 June 2012)
Mentioned it during the live show, had accidentally applied it to the Recoome fight, and edited it out of the final product so I didn't sound stupid.
MAGIC.
MAGIC.

I could be stupid, but I seem to remember you applying it to the Recoome fight in a much earlier episode of the podcast too. It may have been the Vegeta Character Deconstruction, but it seems like it would have been much earlier than that...

I probably did. This time I caught myself, however! That's one of the main differences between pages on the site and off-hand comments in a podcast episode -- one gets peer-reviewed, the other gets self-reviewed

Some videos with what-ifs would be nice, like you said in the podcast. I would like to see some from Budokai 3.

Great podcast as usual.
Sunday is when you live stream, correct? I've got to check out what they are like prior to editing!

Damn it, managed to miss the livestream...again lol. Maybe next time.
As far as What Ifs, the first Supersonic Warriors (Bukuu Togeki, was it? The GBA one) was filled with them. The thing with that game was that each character had his own story where they ARE the main character. For example, in Kuririn's story, Kuririn ends up being the one that has to defeat all the villains, so he learns the Kaioken and the Genki Dama along the way.
In Piccolo's story, I believe he had already merged back with God but needed to become stronger. So he wished Piccolo Daimao back to life to merge with him, but has to fight him for it since Daimao isn't really okay with joining with him to save the world. Fun stuff.
By the way, was it the GBA or the DS one that had (Neko Majin) Z as a support character in the japanese version?

Hey guys, excellent podcast! =) I especially liked the part wh-
WAIT... 'Kanzenshuu'?! o_O Since when? I can't believe this, what have you done?! It's... it's all ruined! Everything looks all shiny and official-looking, it just doesn't feel right... I'm gonna take ages to adapt to this 'remastered' Daizenshuu. >_<

Okay I've adapted now. Wow, nice site. =) Podcast = 10/10

Oh, believe me, I've met a screaming, rabid, Broly fanboy. It was this guy I knew back in high school, and he LOVED movie 8.

Dbz movie 8 was great, we finally got to see a real super Saiyan, a super Saiyan with no motive but destruction and chaos! It was like a dream come true.
