Episode #0071! VegettoEX, Meri, and Jeff discuss some interesting DVD news from FUNimation (is there a potential Spanish-language release coming?), and attempt to continue the manga review with volume three... but things don't always go as planned... Is this the end of the road for our heroes? Only time (and your listening to the show) will tell! Referenced sites: Go ahead and grab it. Big thanks to godofchaos for hosting the gaytarded *seventy-one* episodes, now. Just don't get cocky... you're next on my list, Mr. Podcast File Host...
Don't be fooled. This is the "mastermind", if you will. Let the very fact that I'm posting be proof that the entirety of Daizenshuu EX has been compromised, and the fate of each and every one of you lies in my own devious hands. You know too much. I'm coming for you. Listen for details, and be aware that it very well may be the last thing you ever hear.

OH MY GOD!!! I'm gonna get you Jeff! And Steve Simmons! And your little dog, too!
Great podcast. You guys are good actors! Mike, nice monologue - you made me sorry for Julian, even though I knew it was an April Fool's joke; and Jeff, you sounded so dark at the end. And of course, Meri was as wonderful as ever; and I think this was Julian's best performance yet.

Wh-Whaaat?! Those darn bastards... I'm sittin' here waiting to get my manga review of awesome-ness and this is what I get?!
Great to see how devoted you are to the show, though, Mike.
(Awesome prank. It felt completely Blair Witch-ey. I would've liked some kind of better explanation for the deaths, but great episode nonetheless).

Here's my theory:
Okay, so why does Jeff turn on Mike, Julian and Meri(?)? Well, if you listen to the last couple podcasts (including this one), there's been a fair amount of chemistry between Jeff and Meri; I think Jeff fell for Meri's charms, but knew he could never have her while Mike was around. So, he devised a plan with Steve Simmons and Funimation to get revenge for making fun of the "widescreen" dvd releases, and this way, Jeff would get Meri all to himself.
But why kill Julian? Well, Julian (and perhaps Cory) found out what was going to happen, and were gonna warn Mike, so they had to be taken out. But what about Meri? Well, we don't know what happened to her. D:
Oh, and godofchaos... is he really on Jeff's side, too? DUN DUN DUN!
Sorry, I'm too imaginative for my own good.

... meanwhile, Andrew Deluxe continues to enjoy his E. Coli at Taco Bell...
EDIT: Did Jeff just think he would be too stupid to be able to alert any authorities, so he wasn't even mentioned (unless something was mentioned while I was doing my homework at the same time)?

Crap! Is there a third Corey that I don't know about here?
There is only one hope! We must all play through Metalgear Solid until we can avoid the slightest injuries!
