Actually, Cha-La Head Cha-la 2005 could be edited to the intro, which is 1:48. I've played around with it in the past while I was mixing Mr.A's vocals to the karoake Head Cha la.

1. Is there a TV theme length version?
2. Will it sync up well without having to adjust the footage much/at all?
3. Does someone have it? That German site that had a lot of the various versions for download is shut down.

...Wait, that's three...
No, it's just full length. The 2nd question's a toughie. It's different frmo the original song itself, so I dunno if it can fit easily.
There's another Cha-La remake from the same CD, Cha-La Head Cha-La (mobi[le-re]make version), which is pretty much the same song with new instruments and such =P

You could try that. Timo's site had it as well.

Hmmm... Cool, cool...

Timo, you think you could provide us with these versions so we could fiddle around with them?

I've tried to edit the 2005 version:
http://www.voice-actors.de/member/rac/h ... 2k5_tv.wmv

I think it's okay. Not perfect. ^.-

Kaboom, I'll send you a pm with the URL of the different versions. :)

Is it just me, or did I hear that in Super Dragon Ball Z? I got to play the game to make sure.

No such thing, really. You want free, Windows Movie Maker is "decent." So's iMovie if you're working on a mac.

Most folks use Adobe Premiere, which costs several hundred dollars. If you're a little too pressed for cash to afford that (like most of us), I'd reccomend Vegas Movie Studio. A nice, solid, multi-featured editing program for a relatively cheap $80-90.

It´s pretty good, but didn´t movie 3 have it´s own special opening of them hunting down the dragonballs?

Cerberus is for creating and hosting an FTP Server, not accessing it. I was fiddling around with Cerberus in my attempts to set one up earlier, but now Acid_Reign's handling that end. To access it, you'll want an FTP Client program like Filezilla, which I'd recommend. The interface should look like this...
Oh, yeah... I err... well I knew that all along.

I was just testing you.

Yeah, so I'll try that...

HUH?! It doesn't work. Is there any specific time I should do this? :?
Kaboom referring to the AMV wrote:Just like, a montage of clips from the movie, pretty much? Should we get a little creative, and maybe incorporate some... oh, I dunno... gag reel elements into it?
Yeah, I was thinking something along the lines of a montage, with some cool music (not necessarily Dragonball related). I was list-

Wait. Did you say 'gag reel'?

I like it.

Example: Piccolo makes his bad-ass entrance to save Gohan...

...then he farts. :P For the gag reels, we might have to incorporate footage from other sources to make some of the bloopers look realistic.

I don't know what's up with not being able to access the server. I was having the same problem before, though. Try getting in touch with Acid_Reign about it; he can probably fix it.

As for the gag reel... yeah, a chance to be funny, either by actual recording bloopers or us planning things. Let's not go to overboard thinking about that until we've got other more important things in order, though.

Oh yeah, before I forget-

I was talking to a friend who goes to my school, Daniel, and he wanted to participate in the project. I said, 'Maybe you could be the random screaming pedestrian?'

Hows about it, Kaboom? :P

I saw Mr. A logged on just a minute ago... what's the news on her?

P.S. You're a great director, Kaboom. Keep up the EXCELLENT work.

Are auditions open still, at all? Hate to ask a question that's already been answered, but I'd die to try out for Tenshinhan or the most human looking of Tullece's henchmen, the one with the pale yellow skin who crushes the rock.

Nah, auditions are long done and over with, unfortunately.

I just met Scott Morgan, who used to be the music editor and music synthesis for Bruce Faulconer during the scoring of Dragon Ball Z. He also played the initial guitarist for most of the music played in DBZ and arranged many tracks. I asked him to re-create the music during Vegeta's death by Frieza; although he couldn't copy Faulconer exactly, he did do this facsimile for me (free of charge):

http://morganstudios.com/TheFallenPrince.mp3

He is willing to do small tasks if I need. So if you guys want any BGM re-done, he may be able to help us for this dub.

Sorry to sound a little on the impatient side but I kind of would like to see the script for this whenever possible, perhaps very soon. I want to have the whole script that I can in part turn into Spanish subs that is. You all already know that, but if any newbies come into this I want them to know too and get the word out from my side of the pond. There is a reason I am posting this again. That's an update on what I am going to do. Here it is:
Information on subtitles (Mexican-Spanish predominantly)
 Subs on only the movie itself and not yet on any extra material not included in the first draft of the script.
 Subtitles will be in a plain font and need to be sized to make them readable and at the same time not too small. I need to know how we intend to put this out. If on youtube or what, I am just interested.

I haven't forgotten, Bardock. I'm getting a little impatient myself, as I haven't heard from Kino in a while.

In terms of "distribution," in addition to hopefully making DVDs for those actually involved in the project, I figure our best choice of internet distro would be Stage6. It's got good audio and video quality (very good for subtitles), and anime material doesn't tend to get removed from there.
