DBZ Hit Song Collection 5 - "Hikari no Tabi" has an "overture" version, but I don't know what that means, really.

I think he's talking about a version with no vocals, but I'm afraid that there aren't any, as far as I know anyway.

It's basically the normal version of the song as it appears on that album, but it cuts out (not abruptly; it's like a "tease") right before the "normal" song comes in... the only comparison I can think of is that the "overture" part of it is what they cut out for when it appeared on the recent 2006 1/2 Special CD. If that makes any sense.

The only other instrumental of the song that's appeared anywhere is as it appeared on Digital DragonBall: The World, which we also happened to use as the closing music in Episode #0076 of the podcast. It's not the full song, though.

I think that's it...? Everything else has been vocal.

Wasn't there a karaoke version of the Philipin version of hikari no tabi? I think it was on this "songs of a high spirited saga" cd.

Yeah, it's pretty good. They repeat the entire song twice, but that's really the only complaint I have about it.

There you go. Its only TV size version, thank Spain for it. If you want it, it be best to rip it, because the user can delete it whenever he wants to or he can get banned.
