Actually, Toonami ran both versions, one cut for daytime airings, and one uncut at night under their Toonami Unlimited block.sangofe wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2019 2:01 amPretty sure the uncut ones aren't at Toonami.TheRed259 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 3:23 pmI think that they have aired both versions.

Gohan and Trunks look retarded, so I'm inclined to say it's fake.

It looks like that moronic How I Became Yours Avatar The Last Airbender fancomic.

Are they using a lector for the Russian version or is it a dub with voice actors?
For some reason, I can't watch the episodes that 2x2 uploaded on their website.

I dont have access to some of the clips I downloaded, but yes, it's just a lectored dub and not a traditional one like it was for the first 26 episodes of DBZ.TheRed259 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 3:01 pm Are they using a lector for the Russian version or is it a dub with voice actors?

I take it it's voicing over the Japanese, right? What's the base translation, Funi's dub?

That's correct, but I'm not sure what the translation's based off of.

Re: Dragon Ball Super International News & Speculation (Read First Post)
Maybe it's based on English scripts from Toei Animation Europe. In the Greek dub, the voice actors listen to the original Japanese version but the translation is based on the English scripts from Toei. So it's very possible that these English scripts were also given to other European countries.

And are these English scripts the same as the Crunchyroll subtitles?

Those scripts are given to every European country the studios can then decide to use those scripts or do their own translation from the original Japanese audio.TheRed259 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 12:21 amMaybe it's based on English scripts from Toei Animation Europe.
