You're quite welcome.
And it is interesting, in that phpBB (and I think vBulletin) appear to be the only packages that directly recognize when bots access them. Although, I am still not quite sure what the point of it is, given that it appears to provide no relevant information.
But I guess that's just how it is. lol

It's true. Dayspring's going to date this girl solely because she has boxsets of Dragon Ball GT, then he'll dump her soon as he's watched the whole series. It's terribly sad.SSj Kaboom wrote:I hope 'GF' in this case doesn't stand for what I think it does.Dayspring wrote:and probably a new GF (complete with new GT boxsets!).

I kid. I'll be dating her for an entirely different selfish reason, while it just so happens she has the GT bricks. On a similar note, have I mentioned how much I love working in the porn industry lately? Because I REALLY do. It has health benefits!

Ok, I've got an odd problem.
When I first got here to the new Forum, everything worked fine. Now, randomly, when I try to log in in Mozilla Firefox, it will log me in, then the moment it redirects me back to the index, I'm logged back out...
It wasn't doing this on Mozilla before, it worked for a few days after the server move, and my forums run on the PHPBB3 system, and they still work without problem.
I had to get on Internet Explorer in order to log in. What's going on? Is this fixable on my end or is it something you guys need to fix?

Are you sure you deleted the cookies for daizex.fanboyreview.net? To check, go to Tools > Options > Privacy and click Show Cookies, then type daizex.fanboyreview.net into the search and see if there are any cookies listed. If there are, delete them and try logging in again.mysteriousdbzgt wrote:I'm also having that problem on Mozilla Firefox, and I deleted the brower's cookie, but it still doesn't log me in.

Does it log you in, then log you back out? Or can you just not log in at all on Firefox?mysteriousdbzgt wrote:Yep, I deffinitely made sure that I deleted the cookies for daizex.fanboyreview.net, and it still doesn't log me in from Firefox.

It logs me in but then logs me back out again. It's really weird, my username stills appears on the who is online section even after I have been logged me out, but I can't do anything, such as reply on posts or view my profile, because I need to be logged in.

@mysteriousdbzgt:
Have you tried clearing your entire "Recent History", as opposed to just your cookies? When I experienced the problem, I'd attempted to clear my cookies several times but was ultimately unsuccessful, and I continued seeing no success until I just decided "fuck it," and purged everything. (Tools -> Clear Recent History...)
Obviously, I can't make any hard and fast guarantee a solution that worked for me will also work for you, but I figured I'd toss that your way in the off chance there is some success.

It finally started logging me in again on Firefox after I tried deleting all of my browser history a couple of times. It didn't work the first time I tried it, but now it did. Thanks.lost in thought wrote:@mysteriousdbzgt:

I experienced this problem as well and just ended up going to IE. But thanks for the solution though. I wonder why that makes it work?

@dragondyle:
Well, I'd like to say that I have a definitive solution for you, but I don't. But at a guess, I'd imagine it had something to do with old session data and new session data, where the two didn't match, and the software was attempting to preserve the old, thus running into a conflict head-long. Of course, purging your entire cache would whitewash all of the old data and allow it to instantiate the new data, thus eliminating the conflict.
I'd like to have a better answer for you, but at a lack for an 'error' to be found and taken care of, its often not very clear what causes quirks to happen in the first place, but suffice to say sometimes "shit happens."

Hmm, yeah that does make sense. I was just thinking that. Also, the forum server change probably didn't help that data either.lost in thought wrote:@dragondyle:
