It took us plenty of time to do it, but hey... we have plenty of time. None of us are going anywhere, right?

Big special thanks to lost_in_thought for his courageous efforts in converting the old database to the new format. It was nigh-near-impossible to do, but it was done. Big thanks to godofchaos for providing the hosting for this monster of a forum; as you can imagine, we are no lightweight.

And that's really all I have to say. It's business as usual around here. Update your bookmarks, follow the rules, let us know if you run into any issues, and get back into the groove of things!

I've noticed there's still something wrong with the smileys, though. A few of them are showing up as broken images for me.

Also, we desperately need to splice in the Daizenshuu EX banner somehow. That default phpbb one is just fugly as all get-out.

The forum isn't even technically "LIVE" yet... Dan just put in the re-direct on the old schuby.org address, so people are finding their way over sooner than I thought .

That "font colour" bar over to the right is so tempting to use, but I know this is not the place for me to be playing around w/font colors.

The smilies are smaller, and they look like they have chins now, but they still have the same faces so that's good. :3

While it doesn't affect me hosting it, it's possible my server is gonna take a hit hosting another large forum, so any donations to increase the VPS resources would be GREATLY appreciated, as it would allow the forum to run much more smoother:

Everything looks great except for some of the smilies not working right and the lack of our cool banner. Any chance Daizenshuu EX will get a unique banner again? Love the fact you can now quote others in the thread while making a message. Speaking of which . . .

Maybe I'm missing something...but is there a way to get back to the forums once you've entered the Control Panel? I used to just be able to click on the Daizenshuu EX banner at the upper left-hand corner of the screen, but since it's not there anymore, I have to alter the URL in order to get back.
