Now that they've updated the figures and Vegeta's updated expression is a little less crazy and a little more "I've got you now!", I think it's more what he's doing with his hands than the expression on his face that strikes me as unusual. I mean, they're clasped together and he's holding them up over his heart, that's really odd for Vegeta.

But yes, I do think it's possible Birusu's and Uisu's magic is involved in that.
And I would like to see some magical mayhem befall Vegeta, because I like when absurd stuff happens to him. :3

I am starting to have suspicions that it's Piccolo who gets body-swapped with Pilaf though; due to the fact that Pilaf now matches Piccolo's shade of green from the manga.

"A" is either a fusion between Goku and Vegeta, Gotenks, a second form for Bils, or a third new character introduced in the movie. Or Piccolo, Gohan, ect. but it won't be interesting if it's one of them.

GT is impossible to be canon to the manga given that villains don't keep their bodies in Hell and the Plantian are likely the true race of Planet Plant then the Tsufuru-jin.

Wasn't the Plantians only appear in EoB, while the Tsufuru-jin was Toriyama's idea?

It may been his idea, but they were never mention or talked about in the manga at all. I believe that the Plantians are the true race of Planet Plant given that the Bardock manga could fit into the time line and it seems like AT give Naho Ōishi complete control of the franchise now since AT has been done with DB for the past 17 years.

Anyways, I think "A" is most likely SSj Gohan since he is one of the most popular characters and it would make sense to give him a toy of his own for the movie. I think Pilaf is green since they most likely just re-color him with a new color. It's not characters been re-color before in the past.

I have been thinking about this for a while now too. I'm guessing Toriyama wants to have the most serious characters put in ridiculous situation. He did this with Piccolo in the Buu Saga, I wouldn't put it past him to do it again with Piccolo and Vegeta.

Piccolo and Krillin’s Voice Actors Coming to Jump Festa

Toshio Furukawa (Piccolo) and Mayumi Tanaka (Krillin) have been added to the list of cast to attend this year’s Jump Festa (December 22nd) and will attend the special Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods panel. They will join Masako Nozawa (Goku) at this panel and will showcase something new for this upcoming movie, which at this point is rumored to be a brand new trailer.

Seems to be taking after Ultimate Blast's opening animation, which is a pretty good thing IMO...how much is a ticket to Japan again?

My only complaint so far is Goku vs. Bils above the Earth. We have another Bardock situation where he probably shouldn't be able to breathe out there...but at least it looks good. lol
