The first episode I watch was Episode 245,"An Astounding, Great Transformation!! Super Saiyan 3",in 2004 via the Indonesian dub,(which is) when Goku transform into Super Saiyan 3.

Mine would be back in 1997 when the Saban DBZ was still running. My first episode was the one where Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta were al at Guru's Place while Vegeta confronted Nail.

I had seen DBZ before this point here and there over a period of a couple years when it used to be on weekdays mornings before I went to school. I was half-asleep, though, and only have vague memories of Gohan on Namek at that point and I apparently never caught it when a cool fight was happening.

I became a total nerd for Dragonball Z when I randomly turned on Toonami one afternoon (I saw Moltar and got interested) only to see the Saban/FUNi/Ocean episode where Goku touches down on Namek, heals everyone up, kicks the crap out of Reacoom, and moves around so quickly against Jees and Baata that you couldn't even tell that he moved in the first place.

Because of how cool Goku was during all of that, I immediately went outside and started training harder than I ever had before! It was that inspiring!

Funny thing is, the latter part of the Freeza arc hadn't been dubbed yet so the next afternoon I started watching from the beginning, confused out of my mind.

October/November 1998. I think it was episode #37 or #38 of the FUNi-Saban dub on Toonami, as I remember Vegeta gunning down the Namekian village.

Most times. Westwood Media Dubs of DB/DBZ (168-291)/DBGT, FUNimation dub (68-167), and Pioneer/Geneon (FUNi/Ocean) dubs. All I served was on YTV.

The inside Buu one with the worms, it was like 2003-4, from the opening and it was the english dub. That was the only episode I fully watched when it was on TV.

I watched Dragon Ball during its run in America way back. A few years later, I discovered Z in the Saban era on a Saturday morning when Goku was training in the ship on his way to Namek.

Same for me. It was about 6AM on the FOX network. The first all-nighter I had ever pulled, and I caught the first episode of DBZ. Fell in love with it!

It was in syndication, the Ocean dub of the episode where Freeza, Zarbon, and Dodoria were menacing the village that Dende was in. As you might imagie, I was a little confused.

Episode 2 (or 3?) of the Japanese dub on a bootleg. Then a year later I watched episode one of the English dub on Toonami. Fun fact they used to show Dragonball Z on the WB (now CW) early in the morning and everyday it was a random episode. I never understood why they did that. It only confused me and probably other viewers as well.
