Korean Dragonball rip-off

Post by DominatorLost » Thu Dec 13, 2007 4:36 pm

Well... The animation in this opening looks better, I can't really stand the theme tune. "Goku" looks like he is asleep for a lot of the time.

Come on, you can't deny the similarities this thing bears and how notorious Korea was for ripping off anime.

That korean cartoon is called Wizard Son Kolie, there are more koren cartoon anime rip offs like this.

Here's some more Korean Dragonball Z ripoffs.

Skater Monkey and his punk friends (Punk Pig and Drummer Demon Deformed Baby), I came up with the name

Super Kid, it doesn't only rip off DB but it also rips off Mazinger Z also.

Uh the first one didnt look a thing like Dragonball

So, are no other animated shows allowed to use the Journey to the West story as a basis?

God bless Korea.

I think super kid looked the absolute worst, I really don't understand how animators could draw character designs that bad, and not want to kill themselves.

Yea, that first one was Journey to the West.

But that Super Kid one was definitely "inspired" by DragonBall/Z.

It's because they just love to make anime ripoffs, it's sickening, the makers of the Korean Kartoonz-Ripped-off-of-anime want to cash in on Japan's sucess.

Makes you wonder if they are any Korean Kartoons of a School Unifrom Warrior ripped off Sailor Moon, because I saw a couple of Astro Boy rip-offs and there's this infamous rip off of Mazinger Z, TekwonV, heck, I even saw a Macross rip off and a Gundam one too.

Well, I agree with you there, but the thing is that once one cartoon is made from inspiration or adaptation of some story, if another is made, it'll always have that "it's been done" factor.

Super Kid is the one that did not seem at all like Dragonball/Z to me, while the first two (especially the first one) did. But as for Super Kid.. why was like... every single character, Majin Buu? They could all stretch, and they could all be blown into pieces and come back, but even fight whiel they're still blown into pieces. And also Kakarot.

I hate how the people on youtube are hating on Koreans. Even though they are rip offs why are people bashing the people of Korea anyways? An American company is making a live action DBZ movie and no one is calling that a rip off.

Sure it's off-topic, but I have to agree with you on that the Korea-bashing is really unneeded.

The big difference between the two is that one is a licensed adaptation, and the other is a cheap korean knockoff made to trick idiotic investors into giving them money to snort cheap cocaine.
