Actually, it’s not 18 episodes out of 41 — it’s 18 episodes out of 46.

A lot of people incorrectly call those episodes the “Copy-Vegeta arc,” but there’s really no such thing. Those are just filler episodes that are part of the Champa arc.

It would make absolutely no sense to remake a series then stop at the most popular arcs. We'll likely get the Black arc in the Fall of 2028 once Moro wraps up earlier that year.

I'm the type of nerd who swears by release dates, so DB -> DBZ -> DBGT -> DBS -> DBD would be my order.

However, as far as I know, Dragon Ball Kai was Torishima’s idea. And not only was it a terrible idea, but in terms of quality it doesn’t exactly surpass the DB Store either…

Is there a source on this? It seems like that would be more of a Bandai/Toei thing.

To be fair, Iyoku was the one who got rid of Yamamuro and replaced him with more talented animators and designers. He recognized that Yamamuro isn't the right person anymore.
