Re: Anyone know where I can find YTV's early airings of GT?
I have VHS recordings for all three DB, Z, and GT from YTV and I can confirm they never used the Japanese intro non-dubbed.

Re: Has the "less cuts" in the YTV airings of the Westwood dub claim ever been verified?
I have every episode of DB and DBZ recorded on VHS from YTV in SP speed all digitally transferred. I can check any particular scenes if anyone can specify.

Re: Are There Any Updates On The Harmony Gold Dub Of Dragon Ball?
This is a dumb question: in the Movie 1/3 dub, were there any eyecatches made for the ad breaks like there were for the five show episodes?
They sure did.
Hey guys, check it out! I commissioned vector artist HowXu on deviantART to make a reconstructed version of the Harmony Gold Dragon Ball ...

Re: Dragonball GT original credit scroll
The Canadian broadcast of the Blue Water dub thankfully used the original credit scroll, which I always enjoy seeing upon watching my old recordings.

That's exactly what I hope to prevent. I have those episodes and I can gladly help you.Valerius Dover wrote: Tue Sep 17, 2019 3:52 pm I could deal with that low quality, but the fact that three DB episodes (71, 95, and 124) are completely missing from the Internet kind of sucks. Re: Any Canadians that have YTV recordings of the Blue Water dub?
Robo, your entire post implies you desperately want access to what I have. You have your own recordings, you could have traded with me and I would have been more then willing to share my project with you. But for this reason and others, that is long far and gone. Sorry. Now for the third time, you ...

From what I've seen, which you've kind of shown to be true now, you're only interested in gloating about having stuff no one else has. You say a handful of people who've contributed have been allowed into your inner circle, and good for them... So you like to gloat and you're an elistist.
I'm ...

Re: Any Canadians that have YTV recordings of the Blue Water dub?
I would be interested in helping you out with this if you had any intentions to do more with your material than just brag about having it. From what I've seen, you have no interest in anything other than hoarding every recording of this stuff you can and flaunting stuff no one else can have in ...

Any Canadians that have YTV recordings of the Blue Water dub?
I'm looking for anyone who have their own personal recordings of the Blue Water dub and might be interested in helping me with my preservation and restoration project. I've completed my long term goal for the Westwood dub for Dragonball Z, and now I just need any recordings I can get for the Blue ...

Re: Are There Any Updates On The Harmony Gold Dub Of Dragon Ball?
Not sure if we can have new updates on something from 30 years ago.
Think he meant actually having full episodes of the dub itself rather than just information in itself. The Big Green dub of DBGT's A Hero's Legacy is also extremely rare but hopefully these two dubs will eventually surface.

Re: Is the Westwood dub obtainable anymore in any way?
Of course there are varying quality episodes available online but its becoming more difficult to find noways, many incomplete, mono, terrible frequencies littered with horrific artifacts etc. I'm fortunate enough to have at least DB and Z complete in it's entirety, Hi-Fi Stereo SP recorded VHS. I'm ...

I have all the movies and specials recorded as well in my archive, including Lord Slug. I didn't realize this was news to anyone, regardless that picture saves me time so I don't have to dig up my tapes lol.

Re: Blue Water Dub Question
I own the entirety of the Blue Water dub, in Hi-Fi Stereo nonetheless recorded from YTV. I can check at some point and confirm this as I can't recall on the top of my head if this was censored, but I believe it was.

Nope. Don't think I've ever read any of your posts; you said they were recorded off YTV. I know YTV skipped a certain number of episodes, I believe it's pretty well-known by ...

Re: Pirating Dragon Ball (discussion)
Well, actually, by most definitions, that is piracy. I believe technically any recordings off of TV that are kept for more than a year or so are considered pirate copies. And while you could make the case that the Blue Water and Ocean episodes aren't available on any home release, the Funimation ...

Re: Pirating Dragon Ball (discussion)
With regards to Dragon Ball luckily for me I have the series recorded on VHS tapes and they are more or less complete with little to no content missing. They are the Westwood and Blue Water dubs so not only do I already have the series but they are the rare and much sought after dubs as well. I am ...

Re: Rarest Dragon Ball dubs
I've always found international dubs to be quite interesting. While some completely or only partially dubbed I find majority are only watchable for curiosity reasons. So many of these international dubs are just too poor in acting/production quality to genuinely accept as something one would ...

Re: Why was the Westwood dub so bad? (Original by tvfan721)
Rushed direction and a low-budget. Hence why the Ocean Group are deemed as losers who ruined DBZ. Fortunately, their Kai dub doesn't have any of those problems. Same with the Pioneer dubs of the three movies.
