I wonder what Nakatsuru is doing right now, and what it would look like if they brought him on as a character designer? Would his art look like it did a back during GT or the Dr. Slump manga he drew, or would it look closer to Toriyama's art style now. I think it would be cool to see that, or heck ...

man you've got some cool cells, its makin me jealous. I might end up buying on at some point, if i can find one on the cheap, or if i decide i hate money.

Personally I like the older stuff better, this really goes for most anime/animation in general. Its not that I don't like new stuff, or that i think there isn't good animation being produced today. Its more that i just like the look and feel of older animation, specifically in anime. With Dragon ...

i think I've heard in a few different places that toriyama's would sometimes deliberately make his art more pointy, and angular on purpose because people would complain that it was to angular, and tell him, or maybe suggest that he go back to his old rounder style.

I'm sure you know, but it seems to be happening again. this is not a good time for this considering all the new movie news.

I was watching some old trailers for dragon ball stuff, and noticed in one for, i think sleeping princess in devils castle, that Goku's dub voice sounded different than in the show. I don't know if this has been brought up before, but i like the fact that they haven't added a z to what would be the z stuff in the anime, of the manga, if that makes any sense. Basically I'm saying i like that they are calling it all dragon ball and not splitting it up into dragon ball and dragon ...

Older anime series tend to not sell well in the US outside Voltron and Robotech for some reason. Seems young otaku don't like older things or something. About almost 4 years ago I was at a Funimation industry panel and told the guy I would love them forever if they did Dr. Slump with Laura Bailey ...

i like the all the stuff involving Gohan when he was going to high school and the great saiya-man stuff and a lot of the saiyan arc filler mostly the stuff before they arrive on earth.

Thanks for the reply, I think ill start with the 5/4 packs, and collect the blu rays as well but get 1 or 2 at a time. since the getting 3 of the blu rays is about as much as getting the 5/4 packs which is about 60 bucks, at least on amazon anyway.
