Re: All-purpose Dragon Ball sale/trade thread.
Hi everyone.
Hope you're all well. I bought 2 DBZ Kakarot Collector's Editions, so I'm selling one of the dioramas. It is brand new in the box, never opened. £80 free postage. I can ship overseas via the Ebay Global Shipping programme.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Toei has already announced Akuma-kun and while the old iteration of that aired on TV Asahi, it is possible the new one will take Digimon's spot in October on Fuji TV.
Historically, announcements for the Fuji TV slot are made a cour prior to the new show airing. Of course, that can change, but ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
3 months is always the standard time for shows in the Fuji TV slot. Dragon Quest Dai was announced well ahead of time because it's on TV Tokyo, Fuji shows are announced one cour ahead - it's how they choose to do it. Thing is, Digimon will eventually need to be replaced, what team will start pre ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I've no idea what can replace Digimon at this point in time. They could extend it, ala Kitaro, but I don't imagine it will run another year. The rumours were that TOEI wanted Super to have a long running TV show, with movies every so often like One Piece. They need to sort out the translation on ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I'm still hoping Super returns to TV in the fall. I do know iirc, that the TV & Movie departments for Dragon Ball are seperate? Toei restructured so Dragon Ball would have its own department. I heard it was rumoured that Toei wanted Dragon Ball to have a weekly Television show and movies such as One ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Super will be repeated on Fuji TV's Satellite channel "BS Fuji TV". I think the "BS" is very ironic. So, unlike Fuji TV, which is a basic channel which everyone has in Japan, you need a satellite subscription to be able to watch the repeats. I've no idea if it'll be airing 5 nights a week, or one.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
If Fuji TV is keeping a Toei show on at 9am Sunday after Digimon (which is due to end in the fall) they need a team free for pre production in time for October. Be interesting to see what team is free. Dai & World Trigger I assume will roll on. Precure will never end so I guess they could recruit an ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I will say, due to the pandemic, Digimon will now likely go until next June, as they lost a cour.
It depends on if Toriyama has given them any new material to work with.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Well, here's the key visual for the new Digimon Series airing on Fuji TV in April.
https://mobile.twitter.com/AIR_News01/s ... 0233536513
TV Series for Digimon tend to go four cours, so I'd say no Dragon Ball Super return to TV for a long time.

https://twitter.com/WithTheWill/status/1214974539999805440 New Digimon TV series got leaked lol. I hope its outsourced cause else Toei will be in a complete mess. More info should come out soon, so we will find out if its replacing Kitaro or not.
Iirc, the last two Digimon shows aired on TV ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I'm just interested to know what is happening with Kitaro's replacement, as Toei have produced for that slot for the past 20 years.
Assuming Kitaro isn't being extended again, as they have yet to announce another set.
I don't think Super is coming back, not any time soon anyhow.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Didn't they officially announce a little while ago that Kitaro is entering the final stretch? I believe that they could extend it if they wanted to, but I'd assume they'd already have thought about that 6 month period before they made that announcement.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
That's wrong and we still don't know where he's been since the end of super. Kazuya karasawa is the director of Dragon Quest
there's no Super series coming this year unless it's outsourced and they kill Heroes. There literally aren't any staff left. Bye bye dreams.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Could it be possible that Toei recruited some of the freelancers that worked on Super originally to work in the new department, and gave them contracts?. They did restructure after the first series finished airing.
I will say, the signs at this point don't look good.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
To be honest, I'd love to see Super as a seasonal anime, but I doubt it'll happen for various reasons (another conversation for another day).
I wouldn't be so sure Dragon Quest slots straight in at 9am on Fuji TV Sunday mornings in October - to my knowledge, they've never announced a show for that ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
There will simply be found another reason why Super will return after the successor of Kitaro is known and it doesn't appear to be Dragon Ball. The Olympics for instance, for which Goku is a mascot. In that case "a return in July would be ideal". Some people clearly have difficulties ...

We will know 100% if Super flies or not at the end of January when Toei confirms if Kitaro finishes and what is the series that will be broadcast to continue.

Since March 1999, starting with Digimon Adventure, the 9am Fuji TV anime slot on Sunday mornings have always been produced by Toei Animation.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
When I heard it wasn't on the main stage, I was concerned. Not hyped for a movie anywhere near the amount I would be for a TV series. The last Dragon Quest Dai series didn't air on Fuji TV, it was on TBS.
