I do like Freeza, he's probably my favorite villain but he wasn't really a challenge anymore on his first "resurrection" let alone years later where Freeza level characters were getting taken on by base Goten and Trunks. I would imagine its because saiyans arent that strong. Outside of rare cases like vegeta and goku they were just weaklings who liked to fight and were waiting for the full moon
