What I wouldn't mind seeing is another author writing their own story with their own characters but in the same universe/setting. So you still have Capsule Corp, the Dragon Balls, Namekians, Saiyans and other concepts/ideas borrowed from the series but original characters instead of someone else ...

I'm re-watching the series for the first time since seeing it on TV as a kid. Currently 118 episodes into the original Dragon Ball, which I don't remember watching much of back in the day. It's really great though.

I'm looking for my old copy of Budokai 2... and failing.
