As for Vegeta, he just went into a rage. And even then Goku doesn't always use SSJ3 when he has access to it even in Super, he just stays in ...

Does anyone know how they are going to explain any of this? (I'm operating that this is in the same timeline/universe as DB/Dbz/Super.)

I was under the impression that Broly didn't access his "Beserk" level of strength vs Gohan, therefor he is still way stronger than what chapter 103 showed......or am I wrong?

Oh, you are spot on with this manga wise. This is just a progressive Dragonball narrative fact. However, Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo surpassing Jiren in movie land is suspect tho. Broly is stronger than Jiren in movie continuity too tho.

The show, or the manga, is the main source. If you can't convey you're point via words, dialoge, or feats, then thats on you.
