Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread

Zamasu is not a one-dimensional character, most characters in Dragon Ball are not. You abusing the term just means that you have no idea what it means.

Zamasu is, indeed, shallow, but every villain in this series is. No exception.

We can argue about that, but don't tell me I don't know what the ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread

I'm not really surprised, as both characters' motivations seem paper thin and as one dimensional as you can get . They are also hard to relate to and I think more and more people are just not caring beyond the fact that "Oh, it's "Dark Goku" so it's no surprise that people just didn't care. Zamasu ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread

So the episode of the Black's identity reveal got the lowest rating of this arc... Looks like it's flopping and sadly I can't say it surprises me. The pacing could be much better and it's getting repetitive.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue - [Updated with #60]

Does anybody have a link or list to Tate's previous work on Z?

Yup.

He wasn't all that interesting back then.

There's also my overview of his career , if that takes your interest.

I thought those were him. See, I'm inclined to say that i thought his work on Z was better than in Super. His ...

Re: Could the Dragon Ball Super anime be ending soon?

He was completely in line along with everybody else saying they want it to continue because they enjoy it and want to see more. ( I can only assume these people are masochists. )

It's stuff like that last bit that are completely superfluous and ridiculous though. Just because you personally don't ...

Re: Could the Dragon Ball Super anime be ending soon?

Also I am saying he can't can't like Super but asking for it to stop when he doesn't have to watch the show irritates me. Other people enjoy the show you don't like it? Fair enough then don't watch it!

Please keep in mind Dragon Ball is a very old franchise thus people have certain expectations ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

The point was that Toyotaro shamelessly throws them in all the time. But why don't we just agree that misplaced homages are bad no matter where they show up?

Like I said, I enjoyed the trunks/Gohan panel. It was a nice subtle ode to the teacher/student relationship between the two. If you want to ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Ah yes, the two face lunch lol. I hate that, but completely forgot about it. It's not really a homage though, because it's done throughout the dragonBall series so much. It's basically a staple at this point.

Again with trunks, it makes sense because both scenes are directly related. Although ...

Re: Is SSJ Blue the most underwhelming transformation in the history of Dragon Ball?

By far, due to the circumstances and enemy that Goku was facing at the time. Execution was just poor, it didn't feel like a milestone, and the transformation itself just sucked.

Lol, this is ONE instant. Toyotaro does it multiple times each CHAPTER. The homages in the manga just seem plain lazy. I mean this one actually makes sense, unlike half of the homages in the manga which are just thrown in there.

Supersonic Warriors is probably one of the best DBZ games ever, period. Play it instead of the sequel.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

The last chapter reminded me why I still bother with Super at all. Makes the anime seem like a fan adaptation on youtube.
Could you explain how and why exactly?
He's dead set on hating the anime. FFS the anime isn't bad at all. Episodes like 56 and 57 are masterpieces in my eyes.

Zamasu and black are paper thin characters so it's hard to imagine either of them as depraved., although Black definitely has an ominous vibe to him compared to other villains.

People say this a lot and I don't really like that cut in BOG, it seems out of place for Dragonball. But hell yeah, its damn good.
