This arc will involve all 12 gods of destruction and even the omni king will get involved, so no doubt Champa will play a role in the Black Arc. I agree with some people who say that this Black and Zamasu nonsense is a prelude to a bigger story, just like the Saiyan arc was a prelude to the whole Namek and Frieza arc and the android arc was a prelude to the Cell arc, and the tournament arc was a prelude to the Buu arc and so on. Dragon Ball apparently tends to turn a story into a much bigger story.

Also, Toriyama himself in his interview alongside Toyotaro, said that Goku and Vegeta would be forced into extremely tough fights and that there would be a series of desperate situations for our heroes, and we already witnessed the first one, where Goku, Vegeta and Trunks got their shit kicked in by SSRosé Black and immortal masochist Zamasu.

I would love to have some episodes focusing only in Uni 6 characters, maybe even a small arc, before the next arc with the main cast kicks in.

So far they just seem to be wasted potential.

I really liked all of the U6 characters (Except maybe Frost). It'd be a shame to see them go to waste. I could see the U6 team reassembling for the universal tournament that will probably be after the Black Arc. I'd like to see them again even if for a brief period of time. I'm almost positive we'll see Hit again.

I doubt it. I have horrible feeling they are pretty much one off characters. We may see them again if the aforementioned Multiverse Tournament, but the chances of that event happening in the first place are still way up in the air. I would really like to see Hit and Cabba again in the future, but I'm not holding my breath. The chances are quite slim.

And its pretty clear that they will but not in this arc. What point does the current story/arc have in focusing the U6 characters when zamasu is from U10. Which is why they have not been seen.

I'm not sure how important Cabba and Hit's roles will be, but we heard of possibilities for both of them to return. Goku and Hit are supposed to have a rematch where killing is allowed, while Vegeta wishes to see Planet Salad, which easily gives Cabba a role as guide. Both of these things don't have to happen at the same time, by the way. If Super grows to be a very long show, I can almost guarantee we'll see them both again. However, while they did talk about doing these things, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll go through with them. If Toriyama can't find a good way to write them into the story, he won't. At this stage, I'd say there's an 80 % chance of both of them showing up again, though.
