Re: What was the better age for Bra?

(....) Dragon Ball Super messed things up (once again) and made Pan to a year older than her.

Nope. Dragon Ball Super actually did something right (for once). I'm pretty sure even though Bra was given two birth years, AGE 778 and AGE 780, Dragon Ball GT went with the latter (I think Perfect ...

Re: Daima to Super Connection

Daima actually fits if you watch it after Battle of Gods, rather than before.

Since I see you saying this over and over, it's probably time I say that Trunks' age prevents Dragon Ball Daima from taking place in any other year that isn't AGE 775 (that is before Movie 14).

Zeno is no longer the ...

Re: Was there a place to another arc between Granolah and Super Hero?

I think you probably refer to the time Frieza trained, that was actually only 4 months.
So let's say there Frieza was revived in June, the main plot of the movie then could be in October.
And U6 and Goku Black can still work for Nov/Dec.
(not saying that this has been planned out  )

As ...

Re: Was there a place to another arc between Granolah and Super Hero?

Judging by Pan's age it could be like this:
779 Born (with Videl pregnant in August (?) 778 at Bulma's birthday party, likely born late May/June?)

Movie 15 contains a six-month timeskip. If you factor that in following what you said, the battle against Freeza takes place in December, which is ...

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

I would have created a thread to "celebrate" (!?) it as I did for other projects if we were under better circumstances... and if the movie didn't suck.

I remember being very excited for the announcement, after all, Movie 14 had been a good movie, and then I vividly remember the overwhelming feeling ...

Re: Dragon Ball Daima: Episode 20 - Official Discussion Thread

I'm sure Grimlock must be going crazy with so many people talking about canon these days.

That and as I have gone back to being a "lurker", it is extremely embarrassing to read all about it. From those who say that there is a canon and from those who say that there isn't (more from the former, of ...

Re: Why does the majority of English-speaking DB fans hate Daima?

If you can get past the horrible premise, there's something cool to find in Dragon Ball Daima. I mean, yeah, it's complete and utter dumb that the villains, in an preemptively attempt to hinder the protagonists from bothering them, pretty much gave them all the reasons to go to Demon Realm and any ...

Pretty sure this goes to everyone, really. With the exception of Goku and his "missing piece" specifically ( i.e. remembering his origins/heritage), there's nothing else you can do with the current cast altogether (and honestly, I'm not sure anymore if Goku remembering his father and whatnot will ...

Re: Dragon Ball Daima: Episode 12 - Official Discussion Thread

One can't even say that Vegeta getting Super Saiyan 3 in Movie 14 would overshadow Goku getting Super Saiyan God, as Piccolo and Gohan got transformations in the same movie, and one didn't overshadow the other. See where lack of planning leads us...

Ya'll know it's just there to make it official ...

Re: Dragon Ball Daima: Episode 12 - Official Discussion Thread

but when in the Trunks arc is it hinted at Vegeta could and didn't use SSJ3? is it just a throwaway line somewhere?

There's no hint. It's just that Trunks asks Vegeta to fight him using Super Saiyan 3 because Goku had shown to him earlier, so Trunks merely assumes Vegeta can also do it. That didn ...

Re: Dragon Ball Daima: Episode 12 - Official Discussion Thread

Vegeta getting Super Saiyan 3 at this point makes perfect sense, as this takes place one year after Majin Buu saga, so the only natural and expected path for him is to go after that transformation.

This is another blow Dragon Ball Daima delivers on Movie 14 and Dragon Ball Super and makes the angry ...

Re: Dragon Ball Daima: Episode 12 - Official Discussion Thread

Yay! Vegeta did use Super Saiyan 2, after all! :D And in many shots, his hair was visibly sharper. This is actually the first time I could easily tell the difference between the two forms without having to rely on the appearance of lightnings when it comes to Vegeta! Isn't always great whenever they ...

Re: The various sets of Dragon Balls at this point

I should probably add:

• Toronbo respects someone's decisions. Monaito makes a wish to transport Bardock back to Vegeta but Bardock refuses, so Toronbo doesn't teleport him, as per the Saiyan's decision. This is in contrast with Shenlong, who teleports Broly back to where he was before going to ...

Re: The various sets of Dragon Balls at this point

For limitations / constraints, do we know what happens when a wish is granted? Just like for other sets, the fact that they scatter after a wish is a constraint to take into account, if that fact is true for this set. Or if they deactivate for a while too.

We don't know. Guess Heroes forgot to ...

Daima takes place during the time the Dragon Balls were still stone after the wish to make everyone forget about Majin Boo.

(This is ignoring Goku's statement to wait "six months" to summon Shenlong again, because one wish was made in Majin Buu saga, to which Dende says that the Dragon Balls ...

Re: KBABZ and Robo present: Daima Trivia (updated for Episode 10)

Depending on when you place Majin Buu saga, the timeskip can't be "only a few months", especially if you go by the guidebooks and place it on May.

If you think the timeskip between Majin Buu saga and Dragon Ball Daima is even shorter than the one between Pilaf saga and the 21st tournament (eight ...
