It's Saiyan beyond God, I don't know why people just can't say that name. And it's not a theory since it's an official thing.

Re: "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3" Official Discussion Thread.

That kinda sucks IMO. Why they would ask a new version of AGE 1000 to the man if we had one that was perfectly fine?

Maybe Toriyama just didn't want to do the same thing again, who knows. But it's just what I think, it's not confirmed or anything. Like I said, I do hope more stuff from Dragon ...

Re: Crossover that should happen

Read the Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission manga or watch a special episode from the anime, I don't remember the title. They pretty much give a general idea of how that crossover could work. Also, there's a mod for Dragon Ball FighterZ (and I guess Jump Force too) which gives an idea of how Dragon ...

Re: Crossover that should happen

Off the top of my head, there's probably more:

• Dragon Ball and Yu-Gi-Oh!
• Dragon Ball and Naruto.
• Dragon Ball and Dragon Quest.
• Dragon Ball and Marvel.
• Dragon Ball and DC.
• Dragon Ball and Transformers.
• Dragon Ball and Avatar.

Re: Let's Use The Real World Calendar.

( Updated the opening post to include Dragon Ball Daima. I don't believe it has an official name yet, so I will be calling it "Demon Realm saga" for now.

Trunks is celebrating his ninth birthday, this undoubtedly puts the series in AGE 775 (2010 in real life). That means one year after Majin Buu ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3" Official Discussion Thread.

It might be too early, but here's what I think at this moment:

Yes, the game takes place in AGE 1000, but there's little to no relation to Dragon Ball Online, in virtually all senses. They asked Toriyama to come up with his own version of the world set two hundred and sixteen years in the future ...

It's been one hell of a journey this last decade. What an amazing game, literally thousands of hours spent on it! Thank you for being there in all kinds of situation for me, when I was happy, when I was sad, I would just boot the game to do tons of Parallel Quests, have fun at ...

Obviously I didn't mean Goku only absorbed SSG's power from being dissatisfied, HENCE why I said "hence him ultimately making the power his own despite losing the form". I am well-aware and didn't imply whatsoever that was the reasoning.

HENCE why I said "a big point", as in not necessarily exact ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Though a big point from the original movie was the fact that Goku wasn't satisfied with having Super Saiyan God be something he didn't reach himself, hence him ultimately making the power his own despite losing the form.

Pretty sure it's stated Goku absorbed Super Saiyan God's power thanks to ...

Re: Do you think Dragon Ball will be remembered in 60 years?

I say we are going to finally move past that time period. Theres not much more content that can be squeezed in as Super Hero takes place shortly before the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai.

They absolutely can squeeze in. Between AGE 775 and AGE 777, only Dragon Ball Daima and the Tarble OVA happened ...

Re: Do you think Dragon Ball will be remembered in 60 years?

I'm more concerned with whether Dragon Ball (Super?) will still be stuck between Majin Buu saga and the 28th tournament or if we will keep getting games retelling Dragon Ball Z sixty years from now... For the former, we are getting worryingly very close to the second decade already.

If it hasn't happened yet, then maybe it's time. Unless we still want more of Goku and Vegeta at all times on our screen.

Re: How Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods would have been 13 years ago

I don't know how I would feel, but it would be a movie I would have liked to see, of course. Some of the ideas are generic, so I'm good with the current version, but there are some other ideas that would have been better, such as the setting being Kuririn and Android 18's wedding. A combination of ...

I like both Bardocks, overall I think they are good characters. Although Toriyama's one is slightly inferior due to a worse design. If he had kept at least the headband...

Neato, but it doesn't make the rest of Online canon.

So one statement that you made up is enough to render Dragon Ball ...

Re: Which was the better sequel: GT, Super, or Daima ?

At the end of the day, DBO is just a MMORPG that wasn't even released outside of South Korea, iirc. It greatly influenced other games like Xenoverse and Heroes, but neither DBS nor Daima acknowledge it.

The availability of something is irrelevant. Tarble OVA hasn't been released worldwide, that ...

Re: Which was the better sequel: GT, Super, or Daima ?

If it's part of the manga, for one.

Doesn't Dragon Ball Online only using manga panels as cutscenes, manga-only content, down to manga colors make it part of the manga?

And if it's not but the author still worked on it

It is pretty well known that Toriyama was a part of the game's production ...

Re: Which was the better sequel: GT, Super, or Daima ?

If it's not part of the author's continuity, then it's not canonical.

What makes something part of "author's continuity"? Their involvement in the project?

Pretty sure it's not canon, as DBS contradicts it. No more canon than Xenoverse or Heroes, I'd say.

How does Dragon Ball Super contradict ...
