The shot of base Goku's face with his eyes closed at night is absolutely Shimanuki, and an EXTREMELY Z Shimanuki at that!
Can't wait to get a better look! My eyes were drawn to my Twitter feed as Animator's Corner posted the credits within seconds, so I accidentally didn't pay attention. :lol ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 65
Holy Shit! that episode was incredible, although i was sad we didn't get a whole lot of vegetto, what we did see was amazing.
I may have exploded in my pants.
BTW, i swear i saw a bit of Tate, maybe I'm mistaken. If so, what a fucking star studded cast.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 65
Ohhh. I didn't even know i was just looking up comparison shots. Those are just things i picked up on. If it matters, i apologize if it seems like I'm plagiarizing It's fine. Like I mentioned, opinions can melt into each other. There's so many ways to discover the same thing. It was just ...

Am I a bad person if I prefer the newer style?[/quote]
Yes. I'm joking. You can like the new style, it's just a matter of preference. I definitely prefer the old style but, that's just my taste. I just feel as the newer style feels, cheap. if that makes sense.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 65
I Agree, Yamamuro's designs are anything but expressive. For what Z lacked in animation, it made up for in art. Dragonballs art was always a pleasure to look at. The shading gave the faces depth, the face was so much more expressive hell, even the ears looked better because they were actually ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 65
If I could choose a a character designer between Tate, Karasawa, and Yamamuro I would either go for Yamamuro or Karasawa.
I will use Goku as an example.
Yamamuro's Goku is beautiful in normal state but the way he draws noses is weird and he is literally the only person in the super staff that can ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 65
Yeah. In fact, i feel like designers who are also regular key animators tend to prefer coming up with simple designs over complicated ones, as they always have fluidity and movement in mind.
Definitely. Which is why I find it such a shame that it seems many viewers prefer more mechanical designs ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 64
I quite enjoyed this episode. I thought it was a bit rough around the edges but, it works incredibly well with Tate's animation style.
My personal favorite scene of this episode was the Father-Son Galick Gun. Not only did it look cool, it actually did something.
But, NEP looks absolutely ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 64
I hope this isn't too much to ask for, but could someone kindly turn this panning shot of Goku and Vegeta from #64 into one large image?

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 64
although there just minor corrections still makes the product seem completed. And that episode preview does make me excited, Zamasu with those rings looks like he's summoning Bahamut from Final Fantasy.
