Honest question here, when everybody says that it is true "Toriyama humor" Does that imply that the reader must possess some sort of knowledge in Japanese culture to understand it? or is it Universal humor like El Chavo (mexican) or Mr. Bean?

Just finished volume 9 ( halfway through the series) and I find it pretty hilarious how Senbie and Midori got married. He was just fantasizing about asking her to marry him and she said yes since she overheard in the bathroom

I apologize if this was asked before but I'm surprised we never got a manga adaptation of the series. Was it considered at one point but because Toriyama passed, the decided not to?

The only projects left I can see where they can fully use Toriyama's name is the next movie as (from my understanding anyways) they were in talks about it after Superhero came out. Also whatever vague notes he left for Toyotaro/jump on how to deal with Black Freeza.

I love it when people say AI is a tool like adobe Photoshop was back when it first came out. Photoshop you still had to use and actually put time in. I can imagione this Battle of Gods remake on par with the One Piece Fishman Island arc where the animation got touched up and cut to be more lean.

1st half of this episode was a spectacle to watch.
2nd half I was laughing all the way through.

Was this a perfect series? No but did I have a lot of fun in this little romp that Toriyama provided us one last time? Yeah, I had a great time and reminded me why I love Dragon ball.

I probably would be less critical on Blue if it was explained or show better. They got sucked up in a portal/training but it was kind of anticlimatic. At least Super Saiyan 3 had a better reveal since it was explained Goku discovered it training when he was dead. It also doesn't fully help that ...

There are so many good ones like Toyo and Oda, that it's hard to pick. I like Naho's as well. Togashi is fun, just Goku and Gon riding bikes together is pretty cute.

Personally instead of Super Saiyan Blue, I would just make Blue Vegeta's Super Saiyan God form. So Goku is Red and Vegeta is Blue, that way they're more distinguished.

Also I wouldn't mind getting rid of the silver hair of Ultra Instinct. I like the black hair version instead of the perfect form.

I've been seeing a lot of articles highlighted on the home page of my browser at work and YouTube thumbnails saying that the manga is returning. But, it's hard for me to tell if it really is. There has been so much misinformation, fake news, and click bait from the Dragon ...
