The fan base definitely exaggerates how flanderized Goku’s been in Super. He was at his worst early on in the FT saga but for the most part before then and afterwards, he really has been written fine as a character.

I’m ok too. But I don’t think toei has the balls to do such a thing. I think they will just tie. But if such a thing happens, then that’ll be surprising.

The canvass tends to exaggerate how dumb and how often super dumbs Goku down. I personally gave zero fucks about GT Goku which was the same opinion I had over Super’s Goku until this saga where I started enjoying him more

Where are you getting that Vegeta has more impressive feats from? Goku easily has better feats than Vegeta in Super.

I'm liking what I'm seeing here. Yeah I also find it weird seeing Jiren just attack people but not actually knock them out. I'm excited to see the differences. I liked the recruitment more in the anime but I feel the manga would work better for a battle royale structure

Not to mention that in #110 he literally just shrugged UI off and matched him blow for blow (when he was apparently not even using his full power yet). Here, he can't believe Goku dodged him and when he gets punched, he almost spills his guts out.
