Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Can someone remind me what UI is supposed to do against Moro again? He will just suck him dry again and we will go back to square one.

Re: Does SSJ4 work?

That guide is stupid. Buu saga Vegito gets dusted by Super Baby 1 What makes you say that? I haven't watched GT in years so I don't remember how strong he was. Super Baby 1 was the form after Baby Vegeta absorbed energy from the half-Saiyans correct? What's enough to surpass Vegetto? GT Goku stated...

Re: Does SSJ4 work?

I remember a guidebook stating Buu saga SSJ Vegetto was about as powerful as a SSJ4. If SSJ4 unleashes their full potential, maybe that includes Oozaru stacked on top of their regular potential? Since Gohan no longer had a tail, his ultimate form was basically his hypothetical full power SSJ3. If h...

Re: Does SSJ4 work?

Well, Super Saiyan forms are just multipliers of the base by default so Broly tackling Blue Goku without being a super Saiyan is pretty normal.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Wow this debate. I will only say one thing, Jiren is confirmed ONLY stronger than Belmod who is unknown in comparison to other GoDs within the show. Whiss has a vague statement about Jiren being MAYBE stronger than a GoD but as we saw not all GoDs are equals so that statement is meh. Broly is likely...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

There's a lot of thoughts that went into these cards from seeing past records. Now, I won't claim that those cards are trustworthy sources or that it has any claim on the main series but you can tell the people making it are putting some thoughts to it if you focus on these numbers. It's not random ...

Jesus, is this the highest value in the game so far? IIRC Gogeta had the record with 9800 points.

Jiren vs Broly
Broly is stronger than Beerus. Jiren is stronger than Belmod

Could go either way.

Re: The All-Purpose "What-If " Thread

What if universe 7 brought in Broly and Moro for the tournament of power? Do the other universes have any chance of surviving this?

The Moro arc is taking forever, to be honest with it being monthly and the arc taking this long.

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread

I think the Batlle power system shouldn't be there. Piccolo fused with Kami had a Battle Power like 5.7M and Goku base 7.6M which is a silly thought. Unless they were retconning the power levels to low ball them but the cutscenes in the Frieza saga confirm the Battle Powers of Frieza to be the same...

Re: What is the difference between Kale and Broly?

It's confusing cuz the movie tries to be a sequel to both anime and the manga but at the same time, it misses some elements from both media. Kale has full control over her power in the anime but in the manga, similar to Broly's, she losses all reasons and becomes berserk. Both of their transformatio...

Re: What is the difference between Kale and Broly?

Well, they are each other counterparts from what I can tell. The problem is their lore doesn't sink along with each other because Kale was made mainly by Toei's staff while the new Broly was made by Toriyama likey around the same time Toei wrote Kale as an omage for the original Broly. Vegeta commen...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread

toei Can turn 8-10 pages of OP into an entire episode, in theory one chapter of Dbs could become 4-5 episodes, now the pacing would obviously be atrocious but it’s not like this franchise hasn’t had that before They are not doing the whole "stretch a fight for 10 episodes" thing anymore tho. At lea...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread

It's not about the number of pages. Some chapters are fighting only and most of the pages can be filled in 2-3 min of non-stop animation while other chapters may contain dialogue-heavy and it needs up to 10-12 min to adapt fully without rushing stuff. Original DBZ anime is pretty bad pacing wise as ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread

I don't like some of the battle mechanics like how the enemies can break off from your combo anytime they want and once their red aura starts you can't stun them at all. I am gonna say it tho, this is frankly the most fun I had in a DBZ game since like Tenkaichi 3. It also the best re-telling of DBZ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Okay guys! How strong do you think Moro has gotten over these last 2 months of sucking up planets? Do you think he has finally surpassed the likes of Jiren and Full Power Broly? It makes sense, considering the fact that the next enemy is usually always stronger than the previous enemy (with the exc...
