Goku doing ridiculous stuff is something he has always done in the series. Giving Piccolo a senzu during the 23rd World Tournament, letting Vegeta live, letting Freeza live and even giving him some of his ki, giving Cell a senzu, etc. Par for the course with this guy.

Piccolo and Tenshinhan. Piccolo should have never, ever been relegated to the sidelines, and Tenshinhan should have been more useful than he ultimately wound up being. He had the Shin Kikoho moment in the Cell arc, but he didn't do a ton else. And my goodness did they ruin him in Super.

I always thought 17s power was pretty overrated. I'd like a spin off show more than a reboot. I think DB and DBZ have aged just fine. I'd prefer either a continuation of Super or a spin off show, maybe something focusing on the Saiyans and the Freeza empire pre Dragon Ball.

I think he was closer to 40-50 at the beginning of DB. You have to have him around dinosaur strength at least.
