Re: Non-thread-worthy discussions
Why they never brought the dragon balls to Future Trunks' timeline to fix many of that timeline's issues?

A new adaption of the OG manga: The Dragon Ball (
), while they figure out what to do with the franchise.

Re: "Dragon Ball New Project (AGE 1000)" Official Discussion Thread.
I mean didn't Dragon Ball Online have us go back in time to stop changes?
It did, but it also had a lot of original things too. Like the red pants gang, Cell X, frieza force soldiers sticking around, dark namekians, etc etc.
Exactly. The Time Patrol stuff was just one of many things ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol" (20??) Discussion Thread
Wasting all this effort just to see, again, the very unsatisfying conclusions of the Golden Frieza and Zamasu arcs... kinda sucks.
There's no way they're changing those two endings. As much as I think these remakes will be a major step above the originals, there are certain plot points that ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol" (20??) Discussion Thread
While I'm glad they're staying closer to Toriyama's vision (whatever that means), I hope they don't stay TOO close. Wasting all this effort just to see, again, the very unsatisfying conclusions of the Golden Frieza and Zamasu arcs... kinda sucks. Although to fix this issues you need extensive ...

It'll definitely happen sooner or later, probably they are waiting to run out of things Toriyama wrote, it could be a killer project for a 50th anniversary

Re: 2026 Dragon Ball Predictions
The most plausible animated project we could get is an OG/Z Dragon Ball remake. Good as an anniversary project, no legal headaches and something that's been mentioned before.
If something Super-related is in the works, realistically is just the anime coming back as it was. Ideally, I'd love a recut ...

Re: Dragon Ball Genkida Matsuri 2026 on january 25th will have Dragon Ball announcements
While I'd love a proper remake of Super, the idea feels so... redundant? Battle of Gods and Resurrection F arcs again? For the THIRD time? It makes much more sense to just continue from the Moro arc.
On one hand, I'd prefer to jump into the new content from the get go. On the other, the ...

Re: Dragon Ball Genkida Matsuri 2026 will have Dragon Ball announcements
If they want to properly milk Dragon Ball as much as they can they should adapt the remaining arcs as 24 episodes seasons (maybe Super Hero too as an excuse to see it in traditional 2D adding the high school prologue and epilogue)

Re: They slowly erase GT and OG SSJ4
You mean videogames? Yeah, it still appears in videogames, but I don't see why that should be relevant to this poster.
As for Heroes, I've been told that the version of SSJ4 that appears there is a new "Xeno" variant and not the old one from GT. The same goes for Super Saiyan Blue.
It's ...

Re: They slowly erase GT and OG SSJ4
Why, exactly, would they use the old, outdated SSJ4 form from a 30 years old show instead of the shiny, new form from a 10 months old show?
I mean, with that logic why bother showing old regular Super Saiyan and not just Super Saiyan Blue
Because regular Super Saiyan still appears in ...

Re: Series character designer Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru says a Dragon Ball remake is possible
I’d love to see a remake in the style of the Red Ribbon flashback from Super Hero .
I know it’s unrealistic, but it would be amazing if they not only adapted the original manga but also integrated other Dragon Ball media— Super, Daima, the movies, the specials, etc.—into one cohesive story.

Re: Out of these sets of Dragon Balls, which one was the most interesting addition to the franchise?
The Cerealian Dragon Balls. I think a set of Dragon Balls which are more powerful, easier to find, with no cooldown, but require a cost to grant a wish is very interesting, however it doesn't get explored enough due to them being used for the same wish twice.

Re: Which was the better sequel: GT, Super, or Daima ?
I prefer Super just because is more Dragon Ball, with new arcs, transformations, characters, more stuff. The highs are very high and I can stand the lows.
Daima is the best looking one and with the best humor, but it needed a few more episodes to fully flesh out some ideas and characters.

I hope Daima is at least canon in broad strokes. Too much interesting worldbuilding to let it go to waste.

As for why SSJ4 doesn't show up later in Super... I mean, Vegeta learned Instant Trasmission and decided not to master it because is a technique heavily associated with Goku.
I can see them coming up with some bullshit reason for not using SSJ4 ever again.
