So that's what it feels like to have the blood drain for your face while standing, and be stuck motionless for the minute it takes your heart and brain to reboot and make it through their security handshakes.

Re: MistareFusion's Dragon Ball Dissection! (Updated 12/25/19!)
I, too, dislike the term "Z Warriors". For basically the reasons you listed.
This series has given me many ideas for if I go back in time to when I wrote fanfiction, starting with Freeza filler. Aside from Goku's space-training, it feels like that spark behind Saiyan filler faded. A handful of ...

Vampires... How do they work?
(If only they knew this was secretly part of my plot to make Chaozu suck slightly less! ... You can have inner monologues on the internet, right?)

Re: Movie Canon
It seems to me that the Z movies are all "What if everything in the story was resolved right here, without any lasting consequences?". For a series like DB, where there is no status quo, this consistently results in gaping plotholes.
So, I consider it might be better to treat them as alternate paths ...

Re: Yajirobe. Wasn't he in the previous movie? He didn't really do anything, but he was there when Goku and Kuririn came to after getting Slugslapped out of the plot for a few minutes. I think he gave them senzu or did CPR or something.

Re: MistareFusion's Dragon Ball Dissection! (Updated 9/18/17!)
All these Namek and Freeza shenanigans have put a bunch of silly ideas in my head:
Goku is a Megazord in this arc. The reason Megazords work is because they are piloted by a team of the actual protagonists. While I'm not suggesting that Kuririn and Gohan ride around on Goku's shoulders and pilot ...

Re: What would you wish for?
As tempting as it is to wish for everyone to have Elven-style immortality (old age and disease don't kill you, you're more resilient than mortals, but not unkillable if you turn into Hitler / decide you want to die), I'd probably wind up wishing for something a bit more selfish, just so I don't have ...

Re: Cell saga, last arc where every character is well utiliz
Re: Chaozu. I don't think he was poorly utilized, so much as kicked out of the main cast between arcs, exactly like Oolong and Puar. The three of them should go do some kinda street performances in a city for cash. Shapeshifting plus telekinesis are apparently useless in combat (somehow), but as ...

Re: Toriyama is terrible at writing intelligent characters.
While I agree with most of this (Why even have a remote? He could just build it into his cybernetics! Have it automatically trigger if #17 or #18 is in proximity when his chassy is broken!), I'm going to speculate that Gero was probably not willing regarding the publication of the rough location of ...

Re: Chaozu being completely pointless after his debut
One might wonder what would have happened had the movies continued in the same continuity as the first 3 DB movies. Would movie 4 have included Piccolo killing Chaozu to take control over the Mifan empire, and that summing up Ten's motivation during the whole thing?

Re: So didn't Ginyu die for good when Buu blew up the Earth?
I was always under the impression that the frog in the "Gohan's Birthday" filler episode was Ginyu, exhausted after his lengthy search for Goku's house.
I suppose the question comes down to: was Ginyu an evil frog? The Filler that showed him at Capsule Corp made it seem like he was trying to take ...

Re: Why don't they have two opposing villains appear at once
I'm probably never going to do anything with this idea, so:

Re: Freeza is the Protagonist of Resurrection F
Was Freeza the protagonist? Sure, I can buy that. After all, the plot was driven largely by his character. Even the plot to resurrect him came from the memory of his charisma and leadership and all-around badassery. The fighting happened because he actively refused to listen to reason. He lost ...

It's impressive how this topic was started with the expectation that it would be controvercial and require people to curb their tempers... then everyone has pretty much the exact same opinions.

Re: Saiyan Saga plot hole?
Regarding "They didn't know the saiyans would be traveling at the time":
Wasn't this wish made within 30 hours of the Saiyans' arrival?
The argument still applies, but the likelyhood of the wish happening while they weren't in transit goes way down, so close to the deadline.

Re: What If Eiichiro Oda wrote Dragon Ball?
Since no one else is going to do it:
If Oda wrote Dragonball:
All the anime filler prior to the fight with Freeza (and possibly some therein) would probably be in the manga. (Justification: most of it's world building/references/explanations, which Oda seems to like.)

Re: If You Could Change The Previous Villains.
I vaguely like the idea of Mecha Freeza's tech being relevant to the strength of Gero's creations.
Superperfect Cell feels like a cheap move to add a dramatic final showdown, possibly to prevent the arc from ending on a depressing note ("Gohan is the strongest in the universe, but fails as a hero ...

Yeah, I've just been assuming that she looked it up after they got the warning, and that this wasn't an option by the time Bulma built her time machine in the doomed timeline.
