This is a no brainer. As you yourself said, he didn't follow Goku's adventures on Namek, which should be enough to conclude that he was left in the dark about any new foe encountered on Namek.
Yes, of course. But what I mean is, was he at least aware that two super-powerful aliens had landed on ...

Was Dr. Gero aware of Freezer?
In the manga it's said that the Cell project wasn't actually supervised by Dr. Gero himself, but by his computer, which pretty much kept doing all the work after he abandoned the research. Also, the doctor says that they didn't follow Goku anymore after the battle with Vegeta.

Re: Goku vs. Raditz Zenkai
Well even if you want to believe that the zenkai might have passed over to Goku in the afterlife, he would still be far weaker than Raditz because Kaio said that Yamcha and co made it to his planet far quicker than Goku did and Yamcha only just beaten a Saibamen who could rival Raditz.

Re: Why didn't they just run?
Vegeta apparently didn't know that though. He is surprised when Gohan mentions it later.Son_Gohan wrote:The Great Elder was also nearing his death, with the Dragon balls dying with him, so they couldn't afford to waste too much time either.

Re: Why didn't they just run?
Dende says that without flying it would take 30 days to go from the cave Bulma was hiding out in over to the Great Elder's house, and I don't think the spot where the dragonballs were is supposed to be all that much closer to the house. During all that time Freeza and co. could spot them or the ...

Why didn't they just run?
This is bugging me. In the Namek arc, once the group feels the Ginyu Force arriving on the planet, Vegeta completely freaks out, demands a truce, and they all start flying as fast as possible toward the dragon balls.
Wouldn't it have been more logical to run instead? They should have known that by ...

Re: Resurrecting bad guys
I dont know exatly, but wasnt there a rule that youc can´t wish somebody back to life after one year passed?
I thought that was just for mass resurrections, but I can't say for sure. That rule was kind of thrown out there by Kami during the Freeza battle, and I don't even remember if there ever ...

Resurrecting bad guys
It seems that what the dragons do, when asked to resurrect a person, is to let the soul re-enter the body.
With DBZ showing us the afterlife and stuff, this brings in some problems. If the souls are still in limbo, waiting to be judged, fine. If they were good and went into Paradise, I guess it's ...

Future Androids and Gohan
I was wondering, aren't the original androids looking a bit too strong?
In the altered timeline (where Goku is alive), Gohan trains in the RoSaT for a year, and manages to even surprise Cell with his power. In the original timeline, Gohan has presumably been training for the last 17 years, and ...

Re: Limitations on Shenlong's power plothole/retcon/whatever
Out of universe, it's obviously a retcon to add some actual danger to the story.
But if we want to find some in-universe explanation, maybe Shenlong (or Kami) never thought somebody would be able to find the spheres more than once in a lifetime, making a repeat wish extremely difficult to happen ...

Re: Which signature abilities could be learned by other figh
Piccolo was only there for six days.
I know that, I'm talking about the idea in general. He could have learned it at some point, from Goku, taught it himself after observing it, all kinds of scenarios come to mind. It seems strange to me that Yamcha and Tenshinhan don't learn it. We could ...

Hi, first topic here! Hope this hasn't been asked already...
As we know, the ability of the Earth warriors to control their battle aura, as of the Namek saga, is pretty much exclusive to them. Nappa and Vegeta apparently can't do it, as well as any of Freezer's warriors except for Ginyu and Freezer ...
