6/10 isn't so bad. After all that does equal, 60% which is above average. However to many magazines use 70% + to symbolise this, which is why (although I don't buy it) I like the magazine Edge - to them 5/10 means average.

5/10 means a game is crap to the reviewer. Think of it like a school grade ...

I don't think beam struggles would fit the "hardcore fighting game" theme of this game, because they are always resolved by button mashing. Just my opinion, though.
