I didn't think my comment would be that controversial. I've lived in NYC since 2009 (and prior to college from 05-09 in CA, lived in the suburbs). Violent crime started to decline earlier this year, but it's above its pre-pandemic levels:

Honestly nowadays I primarily enjoy Dragon Ball more through fan works or video games. Heck Sparking Zero did much more interesting stuff with it's what if Scenario.

I don't have any problem with it being retconned, and would likely fully support it.

Canon and continuity are up to the original author in my opinion, so if what AT envisions happening no longer matches the original serialization, his new vision is all I'm interested in.

I'm going to leave the definition of 'important' up to an individual's interpretation, but to me it denotes something along the lines of significance to the story.

It would be welcome, but it's difficult as long as Goku can teleport. A big part of adventure arcs is the actual journey - and as long as you have a mechanism to move freely, you lose a lot of that. I haven't much of GT, but from my understanding they got around the problem by nerfing the technique ...

Things I liked in this chapter:
• Freeza was handled pretty well. Even though he wasn't able to hurt Jiren, he wasn't embarrassed. He outwitted Toppo and Dyspo, and got two eliminations.

I'm pleasantly surprised we got to see UI Omen. Hope we see it again before the complete version, looks great.

Open questions for whoever wants to answer:

1) How many more chapters left to wrap up this arc (including wish/epilogue)?
2) Do you think the manga will include Vegeta's Blue Evolution ...

I enjoyed this chapter for the most part.

Pros:
• Art has been pretty good the past couple chapters, after one month (I think it was 36?) felt rushed and had some weird art (like that 17 panel).
