Should I purchase one? So many new things, but there's the language barrier and the fact that it's condensed. It's not condensed... it just has more chapters per volume. So, unless you meant the price by that (since each one is about $9 US before shipping), the "condensed" thing isn't an ...

Well, I do know quite a bit of kana, and about 20 kanji. But you say that you don't need knowledge of Japanese to read import manga? Okay, I'll take your word for it.

I suggest buying No. 1. It's mostly pictures, so there isn't much of a language barrier. It has some pretty rare artwork from Toriyama-sama. I have it, just so you don't think that I'm going by what other people have said.
